Sparadic cardio just as good?

Ok so question. For fat burning and cutting purposes I ask this question....

Most people would do their workout then hit cardio and go home..... So my question is this... If I did my workout did half my cardio came back down and did abs(or a second body part) then went back to do more cardio would that make any difference? I think I'd actually be able to do more minutes and intensity overall this way.....

Thoughts? Advice?

Overall your best cardio is all at once. 30 minutes is better than two 15 minutes sessions (assuming intensity is equal). BUT, the difference isn't that huge, if it works for you then it should be fine. If I have 20 minutes to workout I'll do 10 one minute sets of weights rotating with 10 one minute sprints on the treadmill. Not as many calories as 20 minutes of sprinting but better than nothing and I get a little weight training in as well.
