Nothing special just some vids to check on my form

Deadlifts - couple sets of 315 x 2

my form is still not great :( Ass always seems to go up first!

I find convential deadlifting just uncomfortable, whereas the snatch grip deadlifts I did today as well (no vids) were much more comfy. Maybe its because of the wider grip causing me to lean more forward or something.

nothing to say but a tough execise, but I sorta like em :)
Heaviest weight I've used so far - a PR I guess.

First of all: CONGRATS!!!

On your deadlifs I want you to think about a few things. You are wearing shoes with an elevated heels!!! This is a bad thing!!!! It is causing you to lean fwd too much. Remember that you sit BACK when doing deadlifts.

You are squatting down way too low to pull it...the first thing that is coming up is your butt...it MUST to deadlift it.

You are starting way toooo close to the bar. Step away from it man!!! Watch yourself...you are having to straighten your knees before you can stand up with it because the bar is soooo close to your body. Step back about 4" and pull straight up/back with NO hesitation!!!

Thanks Bfold, I see what I'm doing wrong now.

Well that was the idea today and the next couple of weeks, to iron out problems before I attempt my PR deadlift.

Yeah guess I was trying to pull like the same way I do my clean pulls :)

I did snatch deadlifts after the deads, and these were more or less like a leg press rather than a lower back pull - more oly like.
