This kid in my girls class always gives her stuff. He burned a cd for her and the other day he gave her windows xp. Which is cool, I guess he is just being nice.

Well last night she said she tried to install XP on her computer and she didn't have the authorization code, so I guess she asked him on AIm about it.

He said he would give her a memory card for her computer at first. Then he told her he would give her a brand new computer that he has but doesn't use much. He said it has a CD burner speakers and all the works. He also told her he would get her a router(sp?) do she could still have her own computer she has up on the net also.

So she asked him how much it was and he said $70, so she said she couldn't pay $70 for it and that she wouldn't need it. So the kid tells her that he wouldn't charge her for it anyway, and that he will just go and buy it for her.

It seems like this guy is a strange fella. I could understand giving someone something you don't use, but he is just gonna go and buy a $70 router also..lol.

It's a nice deal...she gets a new computer outta the deal, but then theres the question of if it's right to take it from the kid.

I have no clue what the guys intentions are but I know if someone gave me all that stuff, I couldn't just take it and blow the person off.

Either way she'll have a nice new computer, and this guy will be out a computer and another $70 for his kind gesture of buying the router.

he could certainly be just a nice guy and helping someone out. My girls computer is crazy slow and I guess she said that to him when she was haveing him help her install xp. He might have just figured he would help someone out with something he didn't need, but this reason doesn't cover the fact of him buying the $70 router....so who knows what the guy wants.

I guess he can have whatever intentions he wants, he would never have that come true if his intentions are what everyone thinks.

He might have the best of intentions. I built a computer out of spare parts for my mother in law and believe me, it was just because I was a nice guy.

For guys who have lots of spare/unused parts laying around, it's pretty easy to do. He might have taken a liking to your daughter and is trying to help her out.

I don't wanna sound like a fool but I don't think the cheating thing is in her what-so-ever. She doesn't have the time to cheat anyways, she's mostly with me.

I totally agree on the 1/2 the story thing, I know I'd never get the whole story.

as for the computer. I was talking to Poyeboy and he told me I should tell her to have him drop it off and my house.

It would be mad funny if I just shook his hand and said "thanks a fuck load for the kickass PC bro" and just tell him to just bring it inside and leave it on my floor as I walk downstairs or some shit.

Heres the scoop on the whole thing. I wanted to talk to the kid, and just see if his intentions where only at a friendly gesture. I wanted to see if he was just being nice cause he knew she had a crappy computer and he had on he didn't need. I asked him about him buying that $70 thing and he responded with what am I dumb I wasn't gonna do that.

I told him that someone buying my girl gifts made me a bit uncomfortable and that if he is just passing on something he doesn't use thats fine.

I really don't think I have anything to worry about on my girls side. The only thing is I was concerned about my girlfriend and didn't want her in that situation. I told her she shouldn't take the computer from the kid, but she said if he wants to give it to me why not I need one.

She is the type that will take something if it's free, so I can understand why she would take it.

But then theres this tiny bit of thought I got when OXANDRN commented on this post.

This kid could be some sexy stalion guy my girl has already been harmlessly (harmless I guess) drooling over. And now that he girls her shit who knows.

I her about him, and she said he is just some computer geek, I said a geek in looks or a normal guy like me. She said Normal like me, but he is from Italy, only been in the U.S. from 2 years.

These forigners get me worried....darn Italian Stalions.
