I just had an interresting conversation with one of my female friends. It started when she stated that she had NEVER mastubated. I couldn't believe this, but her rational is not religeous, but rather she feels that sex, and any thoughts of sex, will take her away from the person she aspired to be. She is the ultimate tomboy, the hottest damn tomboy I've ever met, and she thinks that sex is unnatuaral and immoral as an excersise of self-gratification.
It is my notion that some people have been socialized to NOT enjoy sex, but to rather see it as dirty. Why is this, I ask??? Has our society not yet realised that sex is a healthy aspect of human nature?????
Sex is the most natural of pleasures. There are no sides effects as long as the proper BC measures are taken, and nobody gets hurt when it is performed between two consenting adults. I respect those that wait for marriage, or save themselves for that "special" someone, but to refrain from intercourse simply because they have been taught that it is dirty tells me that there is something wrong with the teachings of our society.
To indulge in procreation is to give in to our natural tendencies, which to me should never be completely ignored. Perhaps post-poned, but never ignored.
Could some of you offer me any insight to this??????
