Too much background to write.
I was married. Lost 65 lbs of fat, then got rid of the wife.
While I was married (had no social life), sticking to my diet was easy. It was my only goal & I didn't really have anything else going on.
Fast forward a year & I've got the last 20 lbs to lose. I REALLY want to get this weight off, but I find myself, uh, socialising a lot.
Ok, ok, I'm boozing it up & chasing tail on my time off. Or meeting dates for drinks & appetizers.
Throw into the mix I work a 12 hr rotating shift, so sleep becomes the main thing that loses out second to diet, when all the socialising takes place.
So, I had an idea. I'd like to hear if you guys think it could work.
I have zero trouble hitting my calories & macros when I'm on shift. That's 15 days of the month.
When I'm off, I find myself drinking a little hard & eating some junky food. Chilis sw eggrolls call me like a siren song.
So, I'm thinking on my days off, I just eat my protein goal for the day (with a tiny bit of fat) just like beef & eggs & chicken breast, whey protein. Etc.
Then, I let it rip for one meal & drinks.
I wouldn't do this every single night I'm off, but we'll say 75%
So something like 8 nights a month I'm just blowing it up, but I'm getting my protein.
Possible to get down to ab showing range, or do I need to just buckle down. Close down the social life for 3 months & get this fat off?
I'm kind of an all or nothing dude. I don't do moderation well.
Help a dude out.
I just want to look good for the beach. I've no interest in competing. Just want chick's to say DAMN, when I take my shirt off. Ya know?
I should also say that I don't do sugary mixers. All my drinks are whiskey w/diet soda or michelob ultra.
