So, Uh, What Have I Missed? Here I Mean?

I dont give a shit about technicalities, we're over.
Just a straight dental starts at $500 per mouth (that includes preanesthesia blood work and x-rays). Rotten/broken teeth are what kills you. Extracting 14 teeth between the two cost another $900.
Fucking 15 year old cats. Could have put them both to sleep and gotten their ashes in commemorative boxes for the price of one uncomplicated dental.
Allow me to serve as a cautionary tale. Dogs cost exactly the same. We've just been dealing with other vet bills (cancer, two cats within four years of each other) that we kept postponing the dentals on the cats that weren't sick.
Man, I will never forget the first morning I woke up after leaving the ex. Felt like Christmas, the first day of summer vacation, and my first day home from the Army having a cup of coffee WITH a cigarette all rolled into one! I was singing "I'm Free" by The Who all day.
Sounds like you two are being fairly civilized. I hope it continues to go smoothly.

Hey, does anyone else think the Elite app looks like shit on the Droid platform? I ended up deleting it and just view the forum as is. You do lose some formatting and functions (e.g., can't give karma).
Before any of you techie types say it, my tablet is lame but considering it was only $100 it was waaaaayyy cheaper than a new pair of glasses. I really just wanted to get an e-reader to begin with. Web access, widgets and apps were a total bonus.

Mittens swallowed a hair tie/rubber band and it cost me 2 grand.
Shit, both of my cancer cats had multiple tumor removals, NEVER had a single surgery run that high!
My vet is a cat specialist, maybe that has something to do with it? Or it's geographic?
