basically I moved so many countries and went to so many schools I barely tracked wtf I was doing half the time. I played bball in hs and then made it to good university and got a crappy degree. The only degree that I thought existed in universities going in I thought was business/economics/architecture and the rest was shit. Largely because my bro is an econ major my father is architect and my mom is an engineer but back home even though she was in the aviation industry, engineering job was considered crap. You always could get a job but it was considered lower ranked degree then say political science or international relations cause for those degrees you would need some serious political contacts (Such as father/mother ranked high in the government org chart). Well anyway, I got that degree, its completly useless and I never really learned shit. I finally landed a normal, good paying job that's completely unrelated to my degree.
While my next step would be to apply for an MBA program mainly due to the fact that I could never pass the bar due to my lack of moral character at least based on my arrest record and potentially even a misdemeanor or two(or 3 or 4) in there (I don't know how they treat expunged/dismissed stuff)I figured wall street would welcome me with open arms.
Now I learned that there's all kinds of derivative trading in there which usually needs a computer science degree or something of that sort, I figured it could be worth pursuing a quick Degree in an engineering field followed by an MBA. I like engineering but growing up and playing bball and all that stuff I figured engineering was for nerds and it paid shit. However, it's interesting enough to me where I think I could kick ass.
Has anyone here redegreed themselves or added another one to their collection? is it worth it?
