Normally I enjoy licking the kitty... however I have a friend who is otherwise great in bed, except for a recent change in her smell. Two weeks ago it was not there, and I went down on her, but the last few times I was with her, I noticed a distinct strong, musky oder while having sex with her, and on my fingers from playing with her. When I smelled my fingers it was almost overwhelming, and if I don't think I could have gone down on her.

It might be important to note that this was just before she started her period.

In these type of situations, what do one recomending doing about the smell? What do you ladies do in this sort of situation when you kitty is starting to smell not-so-fresh?

The first time I noticed this was when she had just gotten down jogging, called and said she was horny and came right over still in her jogging cloths, and I contributed it to this, however the next few times, I know she had taken a shower just before sex, and had even shaved her kitty, so I assume it had gotten washed.

you know like if go into an area that stinks,after a while you get used to it and its not as noticeable
and perhaps the smell gradually increases and they don't notice
also too you kind of get used to your own odor

That's very unsafe. You can get a nasty infection this way. Not just her either, you can as well. The bacteria found in the anus should not be spread to other body parts. Especially the vagina. Yikes!

BBF, it could be her period. Is this the same chick who had her period when she was last at your house? Sometimes the discharge right before she starts menstrating, during menstration, and right after can cause a change of odor down there. It could also be from changes in her diet. Similar to mens' ejaculant womens' vaginal smell and taste can vary depending on what she eats.

If she still smells and/or tastes bad after a shower then something isn't right.

And yes, if the smell is one after working out or just perspiration from not having bathed since yesterday (ie morning sex) then she should be well aware.
