For 3 months ive had this fcking problem. I have barely lifted in that time on and off. Have not lifted in over a month. I go to the physio and he tells me my rib in my left upper back keeps shifting out. If I even row a 10lb dumbell for a few sets it ends up in pain the next day and pushed out again. He says I need to strengthen the muscles above the lats. So they'll hold the ribs into place. Everytime I go to physio though I am in pain the next day. And it takes another few days for it to relieve itself again. I havent gone for 5 days and my back already feels much better. Although he says if I just rest it will feel better but then it will just pop out again the second I begin lifting again.
Im unaware what to do here. My body is telling me to rest and let it feel 100% before any exercise. But his logic makes sense. I just want to make sure im doing the right thing
