The missus and me have been meaning to watch it for a couple months now but I keep finding excuses every week as the reviews haven't been encouraging.

Wanted to watch it, but kinda suspected what just got dropped on me. However, that said, gotta be better than Identity, which is basically same thing... except no elaborate, cryptic, narrative sequence that you put together in your head, after the 'catch/twist' at the end. Instead it's just thrust on you fast food style. You've been inside the head of some straightjacketdouche the whole time. It was never real.
Worst movie, big budget in the last decade IMO.
I mean, Atleast Ernest, or Pauly Shore never pretended to be anything else other than Pauly Shore

You know what movie was really good? I went to go see Knight and Day w/ Tom Cruise with my Dad (my Dad's turn to pick) groaning, I went to the movie and I was really entertained - it was way better than I thought it was going to be. Every minute was so exciting and it was funny?!

that's the thing - it's absolutely the opposite of that. it's one of those faux "deep/hard-to-understand" movies that half-wits applaud for being "meaningful". A meaningful fucking movie doesn't HAND YOU the twist. It lets you interpret it on your own and decide for yourself how you want it to roll (Memento is a decent example, shit, even the Sopranos ending provided more thought provoking material than this highschool bullshit).

Wulfgar - pho is fucking money. My girl recently got me into it. So goddamn good. My goal is to pour it into her asshole and repackage that meal as Combo #2.

nah. memento wasnt near the same. shutter island was in the alfred hitchcock breath. i watched it twice and the second time around the clues are allover about the twist ending. 1 time through, i missed alot. i thought it was very interesting.
