shrunken testicles

What do you mean you have damaged them?

From impact injuries cause you do MMA or something without a can?

OR is it from taking steroids?

Please list your cycles, and the PCT, your age.....................

AND also please answer these questions if relevant

How long have they been 'shrunken'?

How many times has this happened before?

Have you had any blood work done, for example testosterone, SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin), LH (lutenizing hormone) FSH (follicle stimulating hormone)?

How old are you?

Are you in the US? The units on the blood work is essential, otherwise we could be comparing apples and pears.

Here is testo for the US

Nomal range, total Testosterone:

Male

Age 14
<1200 ng/dl

Age 15-16
100-1200 ng/dl

Age 17-18
300-1200 ng/dl

Age 19-40
300-950 ng/dl

Over 40
240-950 ng/dl

LH Adult Male
1.24-7.8 IU/L

FSH
1-8 IU/L

Your testosterone is not THAT low depending on your age, and if the units are IU/L, your TSH, LH and FSH are normal, which is good.

The lower levels of test do suggest gonadal suppression or failure, but are you SURE your balls are shrinking?

How many cycles have you run?

Did you do PCT?

join the club man, my nuts stayed about the same size for a few years, slightly smaller than normal but nothing crazy, but now it's been all downhill. However a 2-3 yrs ago I cycled twice/yr, now I'm on about 8-10 months out of the year. My loads are smaller too, I'm finishing this cycle in about 3 wks and staying off for a good while. I may even try to take a yr off and just run GH and slin instead. The shittiest part about it is now HCG is so fucking hard to get it's crazy. China quit sending alot of the shit over here. Fuck I gotta get some or I'm really fucked

Your labs are normal. They have just atrophied because the machinery hasn't been working in awhile. It is not uncommon for it to take 1-3 years depending on how long they were suppressed. Think about how many years it took them to achieve the size they did prior to using AAS.

Ok, this has happened to me now. I haven't taken a cycle since early 2007. My PCT was dead on. My testicles had no real change until the last 5 or 6 months now. Now, they've gotten unbelievably drawn up. Should I run some HCG to get them back?? If so, how much??

There are other causes of testicular atrophy besides the use of steroids, so there is the possibility that one of these may also be present.

I will mention a few that may seem a bit odd, but it may be beneficial for you to consider them.

- aging

- poor nutrition

- alcoholism

- inguinal hernia

- hydrocele (lymphatic obstruction)

- varicocele (varicose veins in the testicles)

- various viral infections (mumps, echovirus, arbovirus, chickenpox)

- various bacterial infections (brucellosis, leptospirosis)

- various sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhoea and syphillis

- autoimmune disease that causes inflammation of the testis

- cirrhosis of the liver

- renal disease

There are others, but they are not that common.

This is not meant to scare you or insult your intelligence, but to give you an idea of the some of the issues that a clinician is going to have to deal with to sort out what exactly is going on, especially as most of you will not tell your doctors about steroid use.

As well, you may find that something on this list has alarm bells go off in your head and you might be able to find a solution much faster.
