i need inspiration! any pics / routines on how you manifested your giant tri's / what gives them the biggest burn!

i would but i dont have massive tris, hehe

but i can tell you how to build them.

narrow grip bench
full rom skull crushers! i see so many people cheat on these its not even funny
tricep extensions
dips

rock n roll buddy

yeah about skull crushers, tried em once got the biggest burn and my tri's were sore for about 3 days.... ever since i tried them that day i've been doing them but have never felt that same burn that i experienced, i think it's because i'm "cheating"... i can feel the resistance in my triceps but not the burn after i drop the weight? any directions how to perform this technique EFFECTIVELY?

Time to do close Grip Bench. Challenge yourself and try something new :)

i'd say my triceps are a good size....(relative to the rest of me)

and I've done the whole spectrum of this and that throughout the years.....I think it is good to switch up exercises for the tris every so often.....I have done skullcrushers consistently throughout the years, and used to do up to 8 sets of pressdowns using different grips at the end of my workout.

but, I find that when I do something different for a few weeks, they respond well.

Right now I am doing a DC type routine, so I am mainly doing overhead extensions, skullcrushers, dips, and close grips (on different days)

also, I would say go as heavy as possible......

believe it or not ive gained some good definition and size in my trics by just following up bench with tricep pressdown using the rope.lol

I do close-grip benches, skull crushers and dips. I've got good gains doing those on the 5x5 plan. I had poor form on my last set of close-grips though, and my shoulder joints are paying for it this week. :(

I have some pics of my tris, but I don't have a way of posting the pics here. If someone wants me to, I could e-mail them the pics. Tho there is something very very gay about the idea of putting pics of my arms on this board. Not exactly sure why. Guess it is better than posting pics of striated glutes tho. tee hee.

Close-grip bench presses are responsible for any tricep size I have. Make sure you push away from yourself, and not up and over your head.

HEAVY dips, close grip bench, skullcrushers. This is basically all I do for tris. I like to think they are one of my strongest parts of my body.

People tell me, my triceps are one of my best bodyparts.

Most overall size I attribute to weighted dips between benches. It works much better for me than weighted dips between parallel bars, the benches give better isolation. Decline dumbell or decline barbell skull crushers are a good bread and butter exercise.

Somehow (maybe due to long arms, I don't get a good feel out of doing close grip bp variations, but they seem to work for most other people).

I got a nice sweeping flare in the long head, and it seems to me that doing some sorta overhead extension is mandatory for that, the 1 arm overhead extension or the kneeling overhead french press with a cambered bar seems to do the job...

i never liked tricep kickbacks much, seem like too much strain for little gain. im more into pressing lifts. incline db press and dips are my all time fav tricep and chest workouts.

There's a cable machine at my gym that's like a seated overhead tricep press...I get a massive burn in the long head if I let my elbows go back behind my head to start a rep, then bring them forward before doing the extension part of the movement. It's a little hard to explain, but if you have access to that machine, you'll know as soon as you do it.

Those, skullcrushers and rope pushdowns give me unbelievable pumps.

i also like tricep extensions a lot, good isolation excersize for wrapping up a tricep workout
