shoulder pain

COOKSTER

New member
I've been getting a severe burning pain during training in my right front delt( on the right side of the delt), I've had it for 3 months now but seems to be getting worse.

What ever body part i train i always get a burn in my shoulders especially during chest. My delts are my best b/'part- can anyone advice

1) could it be the rotar cuff

2) could it be my shoulders are taking over from other body parts and should I train somewhat differently.

I tain chest, tris- back,bi's-shoulders,traps-legs,abs

Would love some input.

Thanx

I don't know what it is (could be a rotator cuff) but all I can say is get it checked out and stop weightlifting!!

I had a similar problem for a while (not 3 months though). It seemed like my shoulders were getting worse over time, it got to the point where I couldn't do any raises (for shoulders) or any bicep or tricep movement that had my hands joined by a bar.

I go to a chiro for my lower back and told her about it, she started doing something she called "active release" where she says she would move scare tissue around and away from my shoulder. Over the past month they've gotten way better, and I'm able to do bi and tri work with a bar, but they still get a little sore from laterals.

Yep ART-active release technique is the miracle cure guys but only AFTER you have taken some time off to heal the injury. The pain that comes after the injury is healed is stiff scar tissue in the muscle/tendon. It needs to be softened out...ART was the best thing I found out there.
