Should R. Kelly got to jail for having sex with a 15 year old?

I was listening to a local hip hop channel and they were all calling in supporting him and saying there was nothing wrong with him having sex with that 14-15 year old girl.

I disagree.

I guess the trial is still going on but his supporters are out there fighting for the man. Any thoughts? Perhaps I am the only sane person left in this country who thinks he committed a crime. Plus he is stupid for taping it.

Seriously, I am amazed at how people, simply because they like someones music can rationalize away something like statutory rape.
