I am currently 238-240@ 18-20%. I desperately need to cut to about 8%. I know for sure that I can gain lbm while cutting and using gear because I did it last summer. However, it wasn't any more than 7-8lbs of lean body mass.
As of right now I have the options of cutting with gear and getting a small increase in muscle mass or I can diet down to 8% naturally and then hit a LBM bulking cycle and gain more than 7-8lbs.
I know some people would recommend use gear to cut take a short break and then use gear to bulk. That option is last on my list. I have decided to limit the amount of total time per year I am on gear (no more than 12-14 weeks) I was relying to much on gear and I don't want that to happen again.
Anyways, I would appreciate some feedback as to what YOU would do. Thanks
