i'm at the 1 week mark in the anpb diet and so far i've had no loss of energy at all. My first planned carbup was at the 2 week point. Right now I'm not working out because I'm in the sd phase of hst so my energy levels may change when i start working out again but if they dont, should i carb up anyway or just skip it until my energy starts to drop off (if it ever does).

Carb up anyways, it will create a more anabolic environment and keep your metabolism from slowing down. The leaner you get, the more frequintly you need refeeds.

... I would only recomend a low frequincy such as refeeding once every two weeks to a man at least 25% bf, or a woman over 35% BF.

thanks alot bbf. Right now i'm prob around 20%, so I'm guessing once a week would be optimal? Should it ever be more frequent then once a week, for example once i've hit around 10%?

One other question, should the carbs I eat on the carb up be low gi carbs or should I mix it up?

Start with high Gi carbs for the first couple of meals (whatever junk you have been craving) then finish with low GI carbs as your glycgen stores are begining to fill up.
