Shock training lagging body parts? Anyone try this?

Stop training every single bodypart except your lagging body part
Every day. 45mins till failure for 2 weeks.

Anyone try this?

You would end up overtraining just that bodypart, and losing size/strength in the ones that you don't train.

To be direct, no I haven't tried it directly, but I stopped training legs thinking the rest would grow better lol ... big mystake.

My hamstrings were lagging so I started hitting them 2x/week and that really helped. Not really shock training though.

i think you can probably prioritize a bodypart without raping it to shit and neglecting everything else

also exercising more muscles has a better hormonal response, right?

Everyday is too extreme, at least if you are going heavy. Depending on body part, you might try 2-3 times per week and do a few general compound exercises in the 8-10 rep range on another 2-3 days to prevent atrophy in other body parts (which won't really happen much in two weeks anyway). The amount of work load that you can tolerate before overtraining sets in depends on the muscle, your age, diet, genetics, etc. I've never used any tests, but some people claim to be able to tell the onset of overtraining by their waking pulse or some such physiological signal. Good luck!
