fair enough aap. one day, maybe.

You could always go on a non-stop posting spree bitchfest about your ex. Seems to help a lot of the peeps around here. :)

JK, aap. I love you so much.

but something was wrong, and when we got back to the resort, i asked her what was going through her mind..and crying, she told me that she had been cheating with her boss for the past five months

ok, fuckit, you guys know everything else, why not this

i met this girl at a wedding, and we danced all night, kissed for a little, and clicked perfectly. we were 20, and fell into seeing each other like the most natural thing in the world. we were both students, i was to be a pharmacist, she was to be an architect, it was fantastic. we rented a home, filled it with stuff, bought a car, did the things that couples do. things were fantastic for about three years, we finished university, got jobs, she was working for a lone architect, and i was working in a community pharmacy doing my pre-reg year. we had discussed marriage, children...well not really, we just kind of assumed that it would happen, it really was great. i wanted kids later, she wanted them earlier, but that was all silly stuff anyway, so after a while i thought it was time. i didnt say anything to anyone, i went out and quietly bought a ring. it was simple, small, nothing to brag about, but then things werent too easy at the time financially. i held onto it for about 2 months, planning how to make the moment perfect, and before a long weekend, bought a surprise holiday package to Fiji (for those of you who dont know where that is, its a fantastic tropical holiday spot in the pacific) and surprised her with it. we got there, and on the second day, we were walking on the beach at night, it was a full moon, the sand was that blueish tinge taht you see in the movies, and i said "you know, this spot really is perfect" and stopped walking, knelt, and when she looked at me quizzically (she didnt know what was happening) i asked her, and she said yes. we had sex on the beach, but something was wrong, and when we got back to the resort, i asked her what was going through her mind..and crying, she told me that she had been cheating with her boss for the past five months

i moved out the day following our return to australia, moved across the country, and havnt spoken to her since, which is why im on the net so much i guess

so there you go

nothing quite like having your insides ripped out through your mouth... I have been right there, right where you were. I packed my shit, and left NY for a new life. Found it, too. More things in heaven and earth, horatio.

Trite would be the word for any advice, condescending would be good for any assumption that I am in a position to give you any. If it helps for any odd reason: I understand.

Hey, after about the 15th thread and 35th Instant Message exchange, it finally stopped.

......until the next one comes along.:D

A good line from the movie Alexander. Phillip of Macedonia to young Alexander, "Beware of women, they are far more dangerous than any man." Or something like that.

In truth though man, if she could do that for 5 months without saying a word, that's definitely someone you dont need to have around you. The woman is low

Yeah seriously, at least she had the decency to tell you the truth instead of just marrying you and continuing to fuck around on you. You did the right thing by walking away and never talking to her again. Way to be a man, I'd give you K if I could.

I know this isnt a fair statement, and there are no shortage of male psychopaths.

But in my observation I have never seen the same capacity for pure cruelty in men that I ahve observed in women. Not saying it doesnt exist, but I have just never seen it

Unless you date men, you probably will never see it. Men can be just as cruel, believe me.

As I said, I recognize the statement is unfair, and purely based on my own limited observation.

Let me just clarify though that I wasnt actually referring to anyone I have been involved with personally.
