Shampoo to prevent hair loss

I have a buddy who wants to cycle, tren causes male pattern baldness and thats his choice with test 400. Ive read there is a shampoo that thickens hair and prevents hair loss, anyone know what what im talking about?

What if you have no male pattern baldness, have misused steroids there whole life (not cycling off much) but still have a head full of hair at age 32, is it wise to just shampoo with this religiously to prevent worry of hair loss ever?
