I like Met Rx Vanillia it is awsome also SportPharma Vanilla or Chocolate is not bad either....

Spatts I tried the Optimum... Yuck I returned it... It reminded me of Designer Protein it has a strong Whey taste to it..

I really like the Optimum, you can use a tiny amount of water, so it's only like a 3 second chug.

Another thumbs up from me on the chocolate mint Genisoy bars, and either flavor of Grow!. Yum. Sometimes when I'm on the run, I make a 50/50 mixture of Grow! and Twinlab Vegefuel (unflavored soy protein powder), and add just enough water to make a kind of protein pudding. It's a bit embarassing when people see you carrying around Ziploc bags of protein powder, though.

And I may be alone in this, but I really like the Met-Rx protein plus Bavarian Mint flavor. It's rich and fudgy enough to satiate my chocolate cravings, and half of one is a pretty filling snack. The new Chocolate Malt flavor is okay if you like malted milk balls - which I don't, but my mother swears by them.

Metrx is nice tasting and there are many flavors. The chocolaat peanut butter is my favorite. However, it does not mix well in a shaker bottle unless you have the kind made for shaking protein drinkers with the little plastic blades made to mix up the dry powder.

Metrx bars are NOT tastey. Very dry too. The MesoTech bars are nice though and with good quatlity protein source.

Met-Rx Pure Protein bars are excellent - the regular ones DO taste like cardboard though! They come in Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Chip, and Roasted Peanut....YUM!

I also like Biochem Ultimate Protein bars...chocolate chip is the best

Yes yes yes! I LOOOOVE those Bavarian Mint ones! I eat just a half sometimes too & it is great for a chocolate craving. It tastes just like Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mints.
I don't like the chocolate chip, but the cholate fudge is pretty good. Especially if you put some peanut butter on it.

if you freeze the bars before eating, they taste much better and lose the "gritty/grainy" taste

Gladiola...I'm with you on that one. I will only buy the Metrx Chocolate Mint and Chocolate Fudge...yum!!! I don't care for the other flavors at all...the malted milk ball one almost made me gag...but then I don't like real malted milk balls either.
