Serious contest question.

I'm helping someone get ready for a show, 3 weeks out and everythings right on time. However, as we fine tune everything i am having trouble deciding which carb is best for last 2-3 weeks,(low sodium, least water retention, cleanest)? Yes I have reasearched this, and done it myself, but would like some expert opinions. Obviously will still be keeping the fibrous carbs in i.e. broc. etc. would like any insite...

potatoes.. at least that's what i've seen one bodybuilder friend eat and have seen chicks (big chicks) eat on a documentary during precontest

Yep, potatoes it is:)
yes but there are yams(sweet potatoes), white potatoes, also, brown rice, white rice, all have goods and bads i'm just tryin to figure out out of these four which one is most widely used and why..thanks

again man.. i am definitely not an expert.. but i always saw them eating white potatoes with nothing on them (obviously)

keep bumping though and there are a good number of guys on here who compete and i'm sure they'll be able to help out.

Let's not make it more complicated than it is..potatoes and/or yams is what most guys use. Why? Because I heard they have a way of sucking up the water.

White potatoes and yams are both good. Although yams are slightly more calorically dense. I wuold stick to the plain old potatoe!! Or is that potato!!LOL

Those were my thoughs exactly (white potatoes) but I have been hearing mixed reviews. Thats what I always used and it's nice see I'm not the only one who understands it this way..
thanks DROCK
