'See through clothes' scanner gets outing at Heathrow

lol the first one freaks me a little as it had enough energy to expose the persons organs :D

I think I am done flying. This is one step too far against actual freedoms and it is very invasive/intrusive to ones right to privacy unreasonable searches and seizures.

Don`t know what your stance on the Patriot Act was, but THIS is the type of shit they were talking about. Does it matter which freedom they take away for it to be legit? Maybe now people can see what others were complaining about.

On a side note, can I get one in sunglass form? thanks

Actually 2.

Enjoy the Bus... Great way to meet interesting people and have stimulating conversations for 2 whole days..

I am for the patirot act, but if you are a US Citizen then you are protected by the Constitution. If not all's fair in love and war.

My stance is if you are not from this country then you zero rights in this country until you have proven yourself to not be a threat. On the other hand, quite simply you could be notified that you were about to be scanned by this device prior to getting onto a flight. Then, it is your choice, two, flying is not a right, but a privelage and a service that you pay for and are subject to the rules of the ticket you purchased. Just like taking a breathalizer is required if asked to do so or you forfeit your license. You entered into that agreement freely and knowingly for the privelage to drive.

Entering this country is a privelage, not a right. You want to come in you get searched. You already here and not a US citizen then get searched (however, we always as a courtesy have extended our rights to those who visit here)

So.. are you taking back your previous post that you think this is wrong
and an invasion of privacy ?

or just wrong for Arabs and Pakis ?

Should Tim McVeigh get scanned if he were still flying outside of heaven ?

Seriously, when they make one that fits into eyeglasses, they`ll make a ton of money.

Imagine walking around with a pair of glasses like that? I would go straight to the Nursing home.

Trust me, there`s a lot of older, very fit men these days.
