Hells yeah it does. Last trip I went to the ruins of my families ancestral castle, that was just awesome. I brought my kilt this time so once work is over and play time starts I'm going to be a kilted menace.LOL May try and catch a Scotland football match and blend in with the Tartan Army.

Yep when you factor in the exchange rate. I'm paying 3.7 pounds per gallon so given the currency value it's not much different than in the US or Canada in terms of cost of living ratio.

I stand out pretty bad. I'm at least half a head taller than most of the guys I've seen and probably 100lbs heavier than the average. It's weird being this much bigger than everyone. I kind of feel like a giant among mortals.LOL

I got all excited and said "Do they give you cash for tuition?"
He then informed me that no such event exists....

Speaking of Med Students and weakness... This kid goes "hey you know that one jock kid in our class?"
I was like "What jock kid?"
The kid he was talking about is like 5'7 and maybe 145lbs...

Not too many hot Geo chicks. Women in geology are a lot like the rocks. Most aren't much to look at but every so often there's a gem. Although most female geo's are fucking cool as hell to hang out with.

Yeah well, their whole baptising the dead thing will get everyone into heaven. As long as they didn't start out momo and turn their back on the religion. So I've got that going for me, which is nice. I can't believe how many of my friends have married girls that used to be mormon, and as soon as they get pregger, they want to go back to church. Mormon church in UT is a lifestyle, it's not like going to mass just to make grandma happy and then you're at gyno row at the titty bar an hour later. They have people go to your house if you miss church, they'll come around to invite you to church functions, spam you with mail, it's wierd.

It's a single 42' with the head all the way up. Yeah it's a carousel that has to be turned by the roughnecks. Yeah they hook the pipe with the boom then set it into the swing arm to screw onto the quill. I think it's rated to We TD'd at about 4K just using it for workover shit right now. There's a huge shortage of workover units here.

The big problem is the exchange rate. The pound is 2 to 1 with the US dollar. Other than that most of the country isn't too expensive to see. The big cities like Edinburgh and Glasgow are pricey. You can get flights to Glasgow for around $850 most of the time and cheaper once in a while.
