Scale has not moved

I have been training hard for the last 6 weeks, diet is at 1356 calories, I train 4 days a week, the only thing that is lacking is the cardio, I take xenedrine everday.

My results are 2.5 inches in my waist are gone. For the past two weeks I've been irratable as hell and cry a lot

What the hell is wrong with me?

What's wrong with you is that you are looking at the freaking scale and caring what it says. You don't lose 2.5 inches in your waist without losing FAT, and FAT loss is all that matters.

Throw that fucking thing out the window and judge by tape measures, how clothes fit, body fat testing, etc.

There are SOOOO many things that can make your weight flucuate or stay the same. Muscle gain, which is a GOOOOOD thing and weighs more than fat, water bloating, etc.

It's very frustating! I've looked at scales my entire life and that's how I judged myself. I look in the mirror and think I am a 300 pound slob...

I've had this much of a distorted image... I am almost thinking I am trying to hard and I have post partum going on!

After my sis and mom had thier children they have remained heavy. Everytime I see my mother she always has to ask if I have dropped the weight from the baby?

When are hormones supposed to go back to normal?

I mean it won't hurt to add cardio if you are doing none and make sure you are drinking LOTS of water. But if 2.5 inches are gone from your waist, you are doing something right.

I have no idea about hormones, I have no interest in bearing children for another 50 years at least. Or maybe 5.

As far as your mom, don't take the comments to heart, you are WORKING on it. Nothing happens overnight, just breath and continue doing the right things and it'll fall into place and you'll be better than ever. Enjoy your kid and don't overthink things.

I believe its time to throw the scale out the window. :)

Then, go buy some accu-measure digital calipers($39).

Measure progress by skinfolds. Much better.

Look into supplimenting with fish oil caps or liquid. Research has shown that epa and dha can help with post partum depression, is also good for baby if is it is still nursing.

Of course you could just keep jumping on the scale every 5 minutes until you decide you really hate yourself and then go pig out. J/k . You really do know better. Tell your mom how you feel and then maybe she will be a little more helpful.

Best and cheapest gauge of fatloss: YOUR CLOTHES

Go in and get your thyroid checked. Hypothyroidism can follow pregnancy and result in just what you're experiencing (i.e., difficult weight loss and wild psychological symptoms).

I agree, dont look at the scale!! In the past 2 years i have lost
6-7 inches from my bod and the scale says I am maybe 5 lbs less on a good day....

thats why i weigh myself once a year..or not at all
