My sister began a cycle of Anavar (12mg) Which I warned her was too high. Her bdybuildng friend said it would be fine. It came in a capsule which also concerned me as I have only seen the tablets.

Anyway, about 4 wks into it, she deveopled severe bloating, sweling, nauseu and fatigue. She went off and then 2 wks later had a liver panel test which came back elevated.

Today she is going in for further test as she is still not feeling well- same symtoms.

Do you know what could be happening? Iam very concerened as is she.

SOunds like Dbol or anadrol imo.


If they were caps then it was form an underground lab...so you CANT know if it WAS var.

I would also guess that -- I think var would've shown issues within 2 weeks -- that's usualy when you start noticing its presence - sides or results. Dbol or somethign w/ a longer 'activation' period would be my guess

I agree with Sassy and Shadow - sounds like it wasn't Var. If it was real, it just shows that everyone can react differently.

It should be out of her system within a few days - but the effects can be longer lasting. Her hormone levels may take months to normalize. She should get blood tests done at least every 4 weeks until she is normalized.

What does that mean? Unless you are an AIDS patient prescribed say BTG anavar to help prevent wasting away, how do you get prescribed var? Or is this saying whoever she got them from said they came from a doctor?

There are so many questions to be asked here -- the easy one is that they are fake or dirty. She may have had some sort of pre-existing condition that was aggravated by the var. Could've been something other than the var if anything else changed during that time.

Bottom line though - continue to follow up w/ the doc on the tests and definitely discontinue the var. And further don't touch any other controlled substances AT LEAST until the current situation is doctor-cleared and there's been a good period of time to just let the body do a general recovery. If a repeat of that shock happened again a short time after this one, could send everything into a tail spin. (I'm not a doc, but your body seems to remember stress situations and may react if its been a recent stress....)

Just cuz the guy is a doctor doesnt' mean anything unless he's prescribing it. And there the tight leash that is being kept on doctors these days makes it pretty hard to get quote "prescribed" steroids.

I did read the whole thread, but in that particular response he basically said it was impossible.

It seems the one point up for debate is whether or not a "doctor friend" actually prescribed the var or is a friend who provided var from whatever (mostly likely UG since not tabs - to Shadow's point), who just happened to be a doctor. And as such, may have appeared to provide a higher degree of legitimacy of the stuff.

BTW can we get a description of these caps? E.g. color, any name brand on the packaging, came in a bottle? What language on the label? Etc. Sounds like there's a scammer loose who is providing fakes. Obviously it has had an adverse effect on one lady already. Even in the underground world, we are dealing w/ so many unknowns with this stuff so it is up to the community to police itself and put the spotlight on people who are knowingly (or even unknowingly) distributing unsafe stuff to other people.

I don't have experience with the stuff you are talking about, but I do have experience with doctors. A doctor does not necessarily mean a medical doctor...it could be a bloody chiropractor or podiatrist or something like that......a person who has no actual MD training. He could also have a doctorate in physics or philosophy or something useful like that to this situation.
