Sam-e for arthritis

coming back from surgery.....
pretty soft and prolly still a bit depressed. I was given a recommendation to try sam-e (combined with the gluc/condroit) for arthritis. To be honest, I don't know if the glucos/condriot combo has been proven to actually produce/stimulate cartillage. Other than really expensive, what is Sam-e?

The only substance that has ever had the desired effect on me was the Deca.

I use glucosamine/chondroitin, and the tendonitus in my shoulder rarely seems to act up anymore. My Dad has pretty bad arthritus, but I guess the type he has (water in the joints, or something like that) can't be helped with gluco/chondr.

I'm not sure I just helped you though...
