Rules for having fun at a hockey game

The first and only rule, make sure the tickets are for the day you go.

Some friends got tickets to the local hockey game tonight and invited me to go with them. I thought that sure it would be fun. I hadn't seen some of them in ages, so we went. As we all pull into the parking lot it looks very empty. We all look at each other and one of my friends pulls out the tickets and looks at them. Yep, they are for tomorrow night. After laughing at them for a while we decided to head off to a place to eat, drink, and talk about what's been going on in our lives. Still had fun, but I was kind of looking forward to seeing a hockey game.

In their defense, one guy's wife got them from her boss because he was going to be out of town this week. All she heard was the 30'th, and nobody looked at the tickets.

Go walk around until you locate the "box seats" and crash a few corp parties.

I've done that a couple times at the FL Panthers games.
