Rocky balboa

I saw an interview with Sly...all the plot things you are hinted at were HIS choice as lead writer...

He is also doing the last Rambo movie next year

Jeez dude doesn't give up does he?

Heyyo...

I saw it to and cried the length of it. Not academy award worthy movie, but enjoyable and quite a nice stray from the movies that preceded it.

All I will say is "It's not important how hard life hits you - it hits ALL of us hard. What is important is how hard life hits you and how many times you keep getting back up."

My Nini (13 y/o daughter) said that this was what she admired most about me. Caught me by surprise. We are both staying alive for each other.

lol @ kak

he still here???

the movie did have its depressing momemnts ( in a good way) it was sly's rawest role thus far

Me and sassy are gonna see it for our first date.

Are we going to see it English w/ Norwegian subtitles or in Norwegian w/ English subtitles? I wonder what "Heyyo" sounds like in Norwegian....?

Rambo - A Mission in Florida

Shot on location at Leisure Village... hot sex scenes on the shufflboard field, drunken brawls in the cafeteria, booby trapped walkers, high speed motorized wheel chair chases...

It was a good movie, If you're a fan of the series(especially the 1st 2) and boxing in general you'll like it.

I was a little disappointed at the really short time of him training and the actual fight though.

omg i cant wait to see it

excatly,

it was so short

but when the song came on and rocky started training the whole theatre was hooting and cheering....

the flick was pretty moving..

Thanks guys. I might as well not even watch it now since I know what to expect. lol.

Aaarrgghhhh!!!!!!

From the commercials , he looks old and decrepit from the commercials

He's a true testament to what can be accomplished at the ripe age of 60!

Do you think your build compares to his in the slightest???

Is the glass always 1/2 empty with you? - "downer"

Nothing written here has spoiled the Movie - he doesn't die, and from a pure "story" standpoint - it's the best drama since Rocky I........***period***

:FRlol::FRlol::FRlol::FRlol::FRlol::FRlol:

Wow, I struck a nerve here

He looks pretty good. I'll look better at that age as long as my health allows me.

Granted Rocky didnt look like a contest bodybuilder or nothing in this movie, BUT he looked pretty good considering his age. Gotta give the guy credit. He was veiny for the film, thats more than I was expecting.

compared to arnold for the age sly looked good!
Sly is in way better shape than Arnie, but then again Arnold has that whole "governor of california" thing distracting him.

i kept falling asleep for the first half hour. Then the next bit was too preachy.
I didn't understand some of secondary characters' thick accents or what the f* was the point of having them in there.
overall it was a very predictable feel-good movie. the fight scenes were pretty good though.
it was sad when he died at the end, but whatever..

How can anyone criticize Stallone's physique? He's in awesome shape! He's still got abs. The dude is ripped to shreds and still maintains a good bit of muscle mass.

No doubt. He's in better shape than 90% of the guys on the board in all likeliness. @ 60 no less.

hey, I want to take my wife to see it but she unlike me has not seen any of the other rockies. Will she be lost or does it stand on it's own without the history? I am sure there will be things about the older movies I will get, but can you just watch it and follow/enjoy it?
