batman, i also have been diagnosed with narcolepsy. I started on ritalin, went to dexadrene, and then to provigil. That shit is expensive. I had no coverage it was $6 and change per pill. And you can snort ritalin and you can also shoot it. A friend of mine used to bang them all the time. He would crush up 4 10mgs and bang it.

Does Provigil actually do anything for you? I used some of it and I was let down by it. I tried 100mg, 200mg, and even 300mg at one time. 300mg had some MILD effects IMO.
I dont use stimulants (rare ephedrine,sports drinks) unless I see my friend and he happened to give me a Ritalin. If it works for you thats cool-docs are more likely to Rx b/c it's a schedule IV instead of II.

I'm on something called conserta, and I also have a prescrip for ritalin if i need an extra boost after the conserta wears off. conserta as a long lasting drug, 12 hours, so frequent doses aren't necessary like they are with ritalin as it wears off every 2 - 3 hours...
