reversability of voice deepening?

I have been doing some research on this topic and wanted to post a very interesting procedure I have found:

There must be something that can be done about virilizing after the fact because you listen to voices like Kim Chiveskys and she sounds fine after probably using tons of gear to get to her level. The LAVA(laser assisted voice adjustment) procedure is used on transsexuals to make a man "pass" as a woman.

If anyone has comments or desires to expand on this topic that would be great!

My voice never went back to normal after a very short cycle of deca-durabolin several years ago. I was SO uneducated about the side effects of steroids and let a guy friend give it to me. Needless to say, I am more than slightly upset about it.

I don't sound like a man or anything but am frustrated about not having a full range and have to speak at the top of my current range to sound okay and that gets painful after a while. And sometimes in the mornings it is not good.

I have met plenty of female BBs who are way worse off than me and I sound like a girly female compared to them. But when I am around my girlfriends you can tell a definate difference in my voice and that is bothersome. Also, my voice no longer carries well and it is hard to hear me in a loud room.

I am thinking about contacting Dr. Orloff to see what she can do, if anything. I have a feeling she'll tell me I'm not a candidate but it would be nice to pass along info to females with deeper voices than mine (like Chyna's).

Any input or more info from the scientists here would be appreciated

my voice has been cracking from anavar for MONTHS now. even when i was off it didnt go back to normal. im such a senstive freak of nature!?!? whos voice changes with anavar!?!??! anyway... i havent noticed it being deeper in general but it cracks when i laugh or go high pitch... i sound like a lil boy going through puberty at times...

i say keep reading up on it.... and see if i u can contact some of the people who have had that done..... seems pretty cool! good luck sweeite!

Interesting...

Same thing for me...Decca is all I've taken and my voice is noticeably deeper. People that I haven't seen in a while and run into notice. It's pretty discouraging. I also lost my ability to scream in a high pitch. Didn't notice that until I was at a concert or some sort and tried to let out a yell, nothing came out. Luckily I've never been a singer or anything cuz that would really bite. I also didn't know before taking it that voice deepening was a side effect.

your voice will never go back to normal especially afetr deca, i remember when i was in JR high, this buff chic always had this deep as voice, i passed it off as normal, untill one day about 10yrs later she finally admitted to me that shes juiced and the deca was what messed her up.. i think its all she ever did.


as far as the surgery goes, who knows if it works.


its pretty disturbing all this talk about diff types of surgery or what not. electrolysis, or laser hair removal, cosmetic facial surgery to make you look more feminine again, facial shaving and grooming and this laser assisted voice adjustment, thats rediculous...how about you fix the problem and not the symptoms, stop the drugs that are doing it....and if you tak any drugs that you damn well know that these side effects are very possible, then dont bitch about it, you made your bed......

The way you have responded to this thread is judgemental and wrong. It's like telling a kid who burned himself playing with matches not to play with matches after the fact. WELL, NO SHIT!

You had better bet I no longer take the drugs that caused the problem in the first place. And no, I was not aware of the permanent side effects when I took my first steroid. The only people I knew who used them were men and they didn't have a clue as to what a woman could tolerate. At least I have the courage to admit it. It was long before boards like this one existed. I do hope that the people who come to these boards for info will learn from others mistakes. And the only way they will gain knowledge specifically for their situation is if they feel they can discuss things in an open manner.

So, lets get back on the topic of correction procedures for anyone who may have slipped down a very slippery slope. Trust me, if I had it to do over again it would be different.

nope it wasnt directed to anyone in particular, just to the group of people women and men for that matter who are bitching about side effects that they knew were possible and also in reference to th disturbing thought of all these "therapies" or "surgeries" that people are even contemplating doing to correct bad side effects that they have experienced just 'cause they wanted to look better in the gym/beach/every day life.

like i said to primodonna it was intended for the people who DO know side effects prior to embarking on a steroid cycle, the fact that you didnt research it on your own is irrelvant and not the subject i was addressing.

and in regards to trusting the boyfriend or husband.....
i replyed to a post not too long ago and i pretty much let my feelings be known on this topic, i cant stand moronic boyfriends who put their girlfriends or wives on steroids without even informing them of the potential side effects...i think i said something to the effect of "how dare you expose your girl/wife to potential nasty side effects just to satisfy your sick twisted fetish of being with a "muscle girl" "
