Have you thought about using some natural appetite control supplements instead of prescription meds? Just curious. What's your current diet like? Stats?

Meridia/Reductil is usually for very overweight people and just works to control serotonin levels in the brain keeping you from eating. A good bodybuilding diet and workout schedule will do just that and save you $200. Just a thought.:)

Hi Alex

Thanks for the response. I am not overweight but do feel fat and want to drop the pounds!. Im currently around 130lbs and 1.64cm tall. I want to get down to 123.2lbs but although ive been on very good training programmes and diets beofore, now just cant seem to kick past the weight. Whenever I train all i think about it food, and i know which foods are the right ones to eat, its just eating them thats a probelm :)

I reckon my problem is becuase although im not "fat" i see myself as fat and its the whole depression thing about the weight that makes me eat i guess. I know quick weight loss is not good as you put it all back, but i want to get to at least 127lbs in order to feel a bit happier, and I reckon that if i can get down to that, losing the extra few will not be a problem.

A friend of mine is on Reductil and is losing a lot of weight, I just thought Id give it a try for a month just to get my weight down before I can find the motivation and drive to get back into healthy eating habits.

Honestly, I think you need to see a psychiatrist.

You've basically stated you have Body Dismorphic Disorder... we all have it to a certain degree but seems like you need to talk it out with someone to get your perception of yourself in order.

Changing your body will make you feel better about yourself, your right... but it's not a permanant solution... it starts in your mind.

Hi SS

Thanks for the response. Trust me its not that bad :), its just that I was in good shape beofore and cant seem to get back into the 'routine' of eating clean, im training pretty well, but funny enough even though im working hard in the gym, i cant FOCUS. I do honestly think that if i can get the weight loss going it will keep coming off, its just that initial phase that I have to get past :)
