Nice avi, T. Got some muscular development going on, there.

Did you use an iron on your hair? It's naturally curly, right?

;) Thanks Merm!
It goes wavey if I sleep on it wet... but for the most part it's pretty straight. No iron there.
Hope all is well with you!!!

U have no idea!!! I think I put on 10 pounds since friday! I went to that Hungarian wedding yesterday... I have pictures I'll post up a few later of th echurch and hall. It was the most expensive, pre-planned, wedding I have ever been too. The bride/groom table at the hall was wrapped instead of straight because there were at least 20 brides and groomsmen!!
They had a huge chocolate fountain with friggen nutterbutters :evil: , fruit, marshmallows, pretzels, homemade rice crispy treats, oreos, and chocolate brownies to dip in it :evil: A huge... o.k. emphasize HUGE table of Hungarian desserts. I mean All those things you would see in a shop to buy... yeah table(S) of them! The main course wasn't actually to overdone 'cuz I did get chicken but obviously Hungarian style.... butter, breaded... Open bar... and right after they announced the bride and groom.. Yeah wine was flowing from 3:00 until probably now....

I just stocked up on Protein bars, protein powder, and almonds for when I go. NOWAY am I eating that every day. My goal is to come back feeling better then when I left... not come back feeling like "Damn I have so much weight and work to do," It's just not worth it. Good thing is my friend is on the same page with me!!

Thanks VEL, JENS, and GYMGURL :heart:

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

AUGUST 13 2006
Mood = o.k.
Soreness = ALL friggen over... I'm even sore to the touch! Obliques, abs, low back, chest and hams (big time), calves.

Food= ???

M1 = 2 turkey patties

M2 = turkey, green beans, olive oil

M3 = protein, water, NO2 mix, glutamine

Weights = Quads

M4 = protein, water, creatine, glutamine

M5 = turkey, lettuce, mushroom

M6 = egg whites, almonds

I'm sure it will look something like that....
Not focusing on diet 'amounts' right now... I SHOULD be but I know in my head what I need to do. Just trying to prep myself for when I leave out. I'm not going to be weighing stuff obviously so trusting on my good 'ol eyes to weigh stuff. Goal this week is just to hit all my weights and cardio sessions by thursday before I leave out.
I'll have one cardio and ab session to tackle once I get there.. but that should be no problem as I won't need a gym.
So Wednesday will probably be my last day posting.. unless I find time thursday morning?!?! We'll see.

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Well I may have computer access over there. My friend's sister has internet access. So I think I may be able to get on here and there for the first week, and maybe right before I leave. Since we'll be at her mom's one week, dad's one week, and in Romania for 1 week.

YES I'm getting EXCITED, ya kidding me!!!
I saw her yesterday and we're both ready to bail!

PLUS I obviously am going to miss all of you!!!!

So I just got done torturing my quads...
I did not realize they were still sore until I started lifting heavy.
Hams are still really sore, and calves too.
Needless to say honestly I think the muscles visually look bigger despite the water and fat on top

Yup happy and clothes all getting snug. I think today will be the last day I ever wear this pair of jeans again... My butt and thighs were so tight in them. It's really starnge I'm gaining my weight back differently then I haev in the past when I lost weight. My butt and thighs are definitely up there, arms, chest (somewhat), and abs... gotta love that apple shape Errrrr...
I'm happy with my butt coming in though my jeans looked better back there then they ever have before ;)
Also, I was heavily complimented today on the make-up application and up-do's I did on the other 2 girls' for their show on saturday. I spent 2 hours meeting a bunch of strangers who came up and just told me what a gorgeous job I did. I mean over and over... and my ex trainer who never compliments anything... told me what an amazing job I did like I swear 6 or 7 times at least.
Sta took 6th, and Lis took 3rd in their respective classes. (for those who know)
Anyway I think I'm going to get tagged to do a bunch of up do's and make-up in the future. Which I love to do... so it'll be fun.

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

August 14th 2006
Mode= Pretty good!
Body soreness= All over... It even hurts to tuch my skin! Legs still sore.. chest.... I think I need to work on stretching more!!!

A.M. cardio Killed this. I could tell I really got my heart rate up on this.

Food...
Cleaning out my fridge before I go... so it's going to be kinda random this week.

Supps (green tea, vit E &C, calcium/Magnesium, saw palmetto, multi, triflex, DHEA)

M1 2 turkey patties, 1/4C oatmeal
M2 almonds
M3 1 turkey patty, turkey lunch meat, sweet potato (if still good)
M4 1 apple, protein, glutamine, N02 pwder, amino acids
weights
M5 powerade, protein, glutamine, creatine, blueberries
M6 chicken, lettuce, mushroom, onion
M7 egg whites, almonds

Notes:
With all the issues in the airport I am going to take the leep and drop some supplements out of the diet while I'm gone. I just don't feel like getting them taking away... or someone taking them out of my bag... So....

All I'm taking with me is my multi-vitamin, triflex (joint formula), & calcium/magnesium

I guess this will give my body a month to be 'drug' free.

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

drug free for a month....that actually might be good for you to do once in a while...it's nice not to pop 25 pills a day :)

Yep that's what I figured! Perfect time for it... I'm going to do what I did last year when I was in muscle building and just use the necessities. Some things like the N02, DHEA, and amino acids I will add back in when I get back. I know the N02 works well for me.
I did stock up on protein powder, and bars so I will still be getting some creatine, and added aminos that way while I'm over there.
SOOOOO EXCITED ;)

If I don't get to say it later - have a fantatsic time.
I did something similiar around the same age and I have to admit it was a very positive experience.

There are churches in Italy that were so beautiful and so rich with history they make you weak in the knees.

Well at least you had one!!!!!
Itinerary..... Well it's always changing. We're not real rigid on it because we're just going to do what we feel like. We'll definitely stay in Budapest the first week. They have the largest Hungarian festival of the year. I guess lots of Gypsey's and stuff... SO should be interesting. We are supposed to go to the Black Sea for an engagement party where a castle was rented out. We're going to go to the Donue (spelling I know is wrong on that) It's the water splotch you see in the middle of Hungary. We're supposed to go canoeing there. Head out to Romania maybe at some point and visit a girl here I also know who is traveling back home. May go see Dracula's castle. Suppose dto go to some bath houses's up in the mountain's. We have reservations at one of the castle's there to stay the night in. Lot's of hiking. We're going to travel up into some mountains by foot where there is a huge tunnel that connects Hungary and the Slovakia. We are not going to cross because she said it's no fun to cross over and they give Hungarian people a real hard time... obviously carrying machine guns and all...
So that's kind of a idea.... Pretty much just touring around, eating, laughing, and enjoying life ;)

Thanks for the tiger picture SBT ;)

traps, lat and post delts, abs
It was o.k. at best. I think I just suck at firing these muscles 'cuz yeah I always feel like I don't get a work-out I suppose... Not like leg or arm day.
I mean maybe it's because my back always hurts that when I have muscle soreness I can tune it out?!?! as far as the shoulders they were sore after last weeks work-out and I did pretty much the same this week.

Well that does make sense....I mean you are beating your muscles up and wherever there is inflammation there will be an increase in intra-cellular water to repair the damage. So yeah... and you were saying that you were so dehydrated last week... maybe your body is hanging on to it for fear of a drought again.

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

O.k. so I decided to just put a little fun post as to what Hungary is about.. NOt a typical place most people would travel too... so Here ya go:

History:
Hungary was part of the polyglot Austro-Hungarian Empire, which collapsed during World War I. The country fell under Communist rule following World War II. In 1956, a revolt and announced withdrawal from the Warsaw Pact were met with a massive military intervention by Moscow. Under the leadership of Janos KADAR in 1968, Hungary began liberalizing its economy, introducing so-called "Goulash Communism." Hungary held its first multiparty elections in 1990 and initiated a free market economy. It joined NATO in 1999 and the EU in 2004.

The River Danube – which is never blue – determines basic orientation, with Buda on the hilly west bank and Pest covering the plain across the river. More precisely, Budapest is divided into 23 districts (kerület), designated on maps and street signs by Roman numerals
Budapest the nickname of the "Bangkok of Europe", (THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I DECIDED TO GO!!!)

The importance of BUDAPEST to Hungary is difficult to overestimate. More than two million people live in the capital – one fifth of the population – and everything converges here: roads and rail lines; air travel (Ferihegy is the country's only civilian airport); industry, commerce and culture; opportunities, wealth and power. Like Paris, the city has a history of revolutions – in 1849, 1918 and 1956 – buildings, parks and avenues on a monumental scale, and a reputation for hedonism, style and parochial pride. In short, Budapest is a city worthy of comparison with other great European capitals.

That and Flor made a great suggestion as well lol :) May have to use some days to hit tropical too!

Have a fun safe and incredible trip. :rose: :D

My plane takes off at 2 p.m. but I won't have any computer access after I leave the house. Also, found out no electronics on the plane... so no phone. I'm not putting my phone in a bag I'm checking either.. I already have to put my digital in the bag!

I have to finish packing tonight, write up a work-out plan for a friend, meet up with M, and make some last minute arrangements. I will try and get on but I can't promise anything.

So this could be bye for a month peeps!!! I'll miss you all and I will take so many pictures! I'm excited and ready to break out of work now!!!

:heart: to all

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

O.k. Finally have work-out related news.....
First gym was a joke. Hungarian Life time fitness equipment. Took me 10 minutes to figure out one of the contraptions. Then I got a bunch of stares because I was as big if not bigger then the guys in the gym. So got some crap leg work-out in, and 25 minutes stair climber that was on saturday. Today we found a different gym about a 10 minute walk from here. Its definitely more suitable. Dirty, heavy machines, and the guys looked a little bigger then me. One guy wore flip flops... interesting.... Another guy with a huge beer gut came came over and started speaking to me in Hungarian... My friend spoke back to him and then told me he said I was doing a lat pull down wrong that I needed to go behind the neck in order to affect the lats. So you know me... Probably good it was going through a translator because she made it sound a little better. Then I was like friggen tubby trying to tell me whats up.
So then he just watched us the rest of our work-out. We did back, shoulders, and abs. Tomorrow morning is full on legs balls to the walls. I already told my friend this and shes game. We wont be able to get back into a gym maybe for a week.... so thats why I had to switch up the work-out plan a bit S. I have to laugh because every person that walks into the gym their warm-up is throwing the arms around making huge arms circles and then they are ready to go!
She really enjoyed working out with me... I told her just think you are getting free personal training sessions for plus a review of muscle anatomy. Shes also a massage therapist thats how we know each other. Shes totally in love with it. So maybe I can get her butt into a gym when we get back. She has really good lower body musculature. If she had internet access and time I would have her try and post up but... she doesnt. Also, been reviewing with her about food and training stuff and she seems to be very receptive.
Food has been another WHOLE issue in itself here. Today is the first day Ive been on a schedule and got to go to the grocery store. Where by the way, I was thought to be German. I had 2 security guards following me around and started speaking German to me asking me what I was looking for. My friend said Tampons and womens shaving cream so they would go away, and it worked they turned red and said they couldnt help us.
Friggen bread, ice cream, and wine... bottles and bottles of wine. Food is all in grams... and written in Hungarian so I have to try and figure out what is what and not be anti-social. I think its under control now though! 20 pounds later :rolleyes:
Went to a party with a bunch of directors, and actors. My friends brother-n-law is a director of one of the famous theaters here and these were some of his people he has cast in his plays. Her sister is a famous pianoist and teacher, and then Kriszta )my friend) can pretty much be an opera singer. Very artsy talented family! I get along with the children better because I can play games with them and we dont need to talk.
So....
Besides some other excitement like the huge storm yesterday that killed 100 people where we were supposed to be at.... long story but was not... and some guys from Switzerland picking us up down by the water front trying to seduce us with a bottle of wine.
More updates later on... :)
