Red spot after an injection - help

enharmonics

New member
Hey guys, so I injected some peptides Sub-Q earlier today (about an hour ago) and I've developed these red welts at the injection site:

I made sure to sanitize the injection sites and vials with alcohol swabs prior to the injections, and waited 30 seconds after swabbing before drawing the peptides and pinning.

There's no pain or itching in or around the spots (not even if I press down on them hard). My temperature's normal and I'm not dizzy or short of breath or anything

Basically I'm worried about the possibility of abscess/infection or sepsis or whatever. This has never happened before and I've been pinning for a while

If it helps at all, the bigger spot bled a bit after I took out the syringe; I just wiped it with a fresh alcohol swab and the bleeding stopped a few seconds later

Is this just bruising or do I need to go to the ER or something? I'm freaking out about this big time

you are freaking out over a red spot ?

infections are extremely rare when injecting. they don't just develop fast like magic, they will take time. you get infections all the time, you might be at the gym and touch the bar that someone was sick and pick up a virus or bacteria. thats why we have an immune system.

you are fine, what probably happened here is you hit a vein

Red spots aren't normal after a Sub-Q injection. You don't have any infection or anything like that.

The peptide market is full of fakes and low quality peptides. What I suspect is happening is that the peptides you are injecting are fake or have some impurity in them that your body is negatively responding to and an allergic reaction has formed.

There is no need to go the hospital or anything like that. The red lumps should go away in a day or so. I would stop using the peptides.
