just wondering what some of you guys do on your "recovery" days. Do you believe in active recovery such as light cardio, yoga, maybe hitting up the sauna. or do you believe in a "dead" recovery day and try to limit physical activities?
I end my leg days with cardio.. i do about 1.5 miles on the treadmill.
yoga I used to do but not anymore, I am too damn built these days... I can barely tie my shoes and I cannot scratch my back anymore. I used to be able to do the eagle position perfectly, can't anymore.. chest and arms are too built up.
sauna is too dirty and full of nude old guys.. i stay away
The main objective for recovery days should be nutrition, sleep, hydration, and running to the store to stock up on the food you need for the rest of the week.
With two kids in baseball and 10 hour work shits, I never recover lol. Nah I like to take the day and relax as much possible. Maybe an occasional walk around the track.
