Here is a mini check list for both newbies and not so newbies to use before starting their next cycle.

[ ] Blood work. Have you gotten it done? I don't mean months ago. The week before starting a cycle, you should have a current blood panel of yourself. You need to know what shape your body is in before you start injecting things in it that disrupt the natural stasis and balance of your body. $50 to have it done. Don't give me no shit about not having time or money or whatever. If you can't afford $50 to have your blood done at the beginning and end of your cycle, then go find a cheaper sport that you won't risk your long term health with.

[ ] Donation. Speaking of blood, when was the last time you donated any? Your HCT is going to rise a few points no matter how mild your cycle is. Add in a moderate to heavy cycle and it goes up more. Add in EQ, same thing. If your HCT is not in the 46-48 range before starting a cycle, you need to get your old bad self down to the Red Cross and donate some until it is. How do you know what your HCT is? It will be on the blood work panel you get done. Remember that? Listed right above. Donate every 56 days while juicing.

[ ] Your Shit. As in have you gotten all your shit for the cycle yet? Don't be one of these asshats that gets a partial order of juice and starts right away only to find out your source is out of something or has delays in shipping or whatever the fuck it is that comes along and leaves you holding your pitiful shrunken nuts in hand at the 6 week mark because the rest of your order hasn't arrived yet. Get Your Shit. All of it. By "all of it" I mean everything. Juice, AIs, Supps, syringes, prep pads, etc... whatever that cycle may need, you get. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

[ ] Your Shit Part 2. Get a little extra ok. Now I know you are planning this killer 12 week cycle that is going to transform you into a jacked up pussy magnet just like Brad Pitt was in Fight Club. But what if you reach the 12 week mark and you are still making quality gains? Are you going to stop because you determined it was only going to be 12 weeks? No, you are going to stop because you ran out of shit. So get a little extra. Everybody responds differently. Some people start slow and gain at a steady pace. Some people stop responding after 6 weeks or so - these people normally have the best success with short blast cycles. But if you are making gains, don't stop and rob yourself. By the same token, if you are not making any more gains, don't keep going. Your body or your juice is trying to tell you something here.

[ ] Supps. You better have them. Don't be skimping on them just because you spent all your money on the juice. The juice is cheapest part. It is quite small compared to what the AIs, Supps and food for the cycle is going to cost you. If you can't afford supps, you shouldn't be juicing. Now what supps do you need? You can debate it and hear a thousand different answers. But here are the basics you need. Baby Aspirin (take it at night, not in the morning for best effect),
Fish oil. You need between 3 grams and 9 grams of Omega 3 daily. You can do a search online and find the calculator where you put in your Omega 6 & 9 daily intake and it will tell you how much Omega 3s you need. And when you buy Omega 3s, don't be fooled by the overall strength listed on the bottle. If you need 6 grams of Omega 3s daily you will see a bottle that says Omega 3 (or Fish Oil) 1000mg and think "Oh I need to take six of those every day". Well you are wrong. Look at the back of the bottle and see what the concentration of EPA/DHA is. Add those two together and THAT is what you need 6 grams of. If you have cheap capsules, you will have to take a LOT of those if it only has 300mg combine EPA/DHA in order to get your 6 grams daily. Not to promote or advertise for them, but I have found Carlsons to be the best. I am sure there are other brands just as good and even better than someone on here may suggest or a simple search of the site may yield.
Multi Vit Whether you choose to take 2 One A Day or swallow something like 20 different caps, tabs, and gels that some of the hard core packs on the market offer doesn't matter. Just get one. Some are better than others, but all are better than none.
These are the three basics. Now you can get as fancy as you want and add more, Red Yeast Rice/Niacin/CoQ10 for cholesterol aid, Milk Thistle/Liv 52/etc.. for liver aid, Saw Palmetto for prostate health... you can pick and choose after doing research on which ones will benefit you the most. You will know what you need based on the blood work you had done before your cycle.

[ ] Plan. Just shoot roids and grow really doesn't cut it. Whatever you have now with whatever you are doing now... well roids is going to give you more of the same at a bit faster rate. Look in the mirror and be honest with yourself. Claiming you are bulking is not a reason to justify the fact that you have never seen your abs. Permabulkers suck. Why? Because they are lazy insecure individuals that need to make excuses to themselves for looking like a bag of bloated assholes year in and year out. It's easy to get fat. You don't need steroids to do that. So be realistic. When reaching Point B at the end of the cycle if you look like you did at Point A when you started, only a little bigger... well you just wasted your time and money. So stop fooling yourself that there is a magic cycle out there that is going to transform you into the vision you have in your head. It takes pain and will power to do that in the gym and at the dinner table. It isn't easy. So have a plan in mind. You need to see your abs? Your biceps over power your triceps? Quads are decent but hamstrings are non existent? Well this is the time you need to prioritize those body parts. Why waste all the energy and environment of growth that occurs when steroids are introduced into your training, by training things that already respond and are the strong points of your physique? Not saying neglect them, but pick two things about yourself that will improve your mirror reflection in three months. Need shoulder width? Train shoulders twice a week. Monday is a regular shoulder training day. Thursday is a day where you specifically train the side delts. 5 sets of wide grip upright rows supersetted with no cheat lateral raises. Get the idea?

[ ] Peace. Get plenty of that. No joke. Let's say you have gotten your blood work, donated your pint, got all your gear plus a little extra, figured out your supplement support system, looked in the mirror and gave yourself a honest no bullshit evaluation and decided which two body parts to prioritize that would contribute to an entire body improvement image when the cycle is over. You are up and ready to go. You know this really would not be the best time to break up with your girlfriend or ask your wife for a divorce. Nor should you be under the stress of final exams or finding a job or dodging the 5-O because of some shifty ass bench warrants you have out on yourself. Vacations, party weekends, bachelor parties, and the STDs you got from that 35 year old Tijuana virgin will all set your progress back a huge bit in the overall picture.
