Just my 2 cents but clen is not all it is cracked up to be I hate the sides as above peeps suggested tweak the diet first then if she still has that stubborn pocket fat around her midsction try yohmbiburn.

Oh yes!! Try the YES from the AF store....good stuff.....And typically that area is one of the last places for fat loss on women....

Ok, good comments by all. She already uses YES, there's one step done. Any of you have any good links to some cutting diets others have posted I can use for ideas?

See my above comments. Its not far off - but I'd say that if she's looking to get over the hump, optimize it & stay consistent w/ that, maybe a cheat meal / week if you don't already do that.

To help w/ this, I'd have her / you put this meal plan or the selected meal plan into a food counts program like www.fitday.com to see how much she's really eating and also the macronutrient breakdown.

For guidance you can also check the Shadow Project sticky at the top of the board.

You might also look at doing some manipulation via carb cycling to get a kick start on the fat loss.

She doesn't use the milk to make the oatmeal, that's what she drinks.

Definitely have her start using www.fitday.com - it can be very very enlightening to see what you're eating/not eating....

Check out the "Shadow's Project" sticky - there's a meal plan in there. Generally, a calorie range of 10x to 12x bodyweight (1,000 - 1,200 cals for a 100lb woman) with a macro of 40/30/30 of P/C/F is good for cutting. That leaves some room to change up meals, etc for some variety.

A tip I have yet to try but a lady I know from another board swears buy is plastic wrap the area after applying the YES. I am actually going to try this soon as I have this chunk of fat on my lower abs that has yet to budge.

I think Sassy does it too - I have not tried it myself....

My lower abs "pooch" out ALL the time due to food, types of food, water intake, etc.....Plus the way I stand makes a diff....it's a woman thing...

For links to clean diets, how about trying the STICKY at the top entitles LINKS TO TOP THREADS.

It gives TONS of info.

Also read some of the ladies training journals here it will give you some ideas on what & how much to eat.
