Re-fried beans, yay or nay?

Our family at home are always wanting to eat mexican. I love it as well but it's hard to do when trying to eat clean. 9 out of 10 times I order just a plate of grilled chicken and an order of re-fried beans. I wouldn't think what I order is too bad other than the high salt content on the chicken. What's your take on the beans? Should I avoid them along w/ the chips?

Re-fried beans are fine.... but I wouldn't be dippin the chips in them.

I usually order a chicken burrito with extra chicken and then just eat the inside.

Refried beans are fine. Basically pinto beans mashed up.

My favorite cheat...Mexican. :)

pinto is good :p

ok, depends on how much oil they use to "refry" them. Normally, when we cook them, you basically use no oil, just pour them on a skillet (teflon) and let them dry a bit.

Ask at the restaurant how they are made.

The beans per sé are good, fibrous carbs and protein, complete that protein and you have a GO
