quick lifts

Any one else do quick lifts?

I do cleans, clean & presses, push presses, high pulls and dynamic shrugs....all are awesome!

Great lifts for strength!
 
I've used the quick lifts for quite a few years and I've recently integrated them into my Westside routine.My favorite are power snatches,hang snatches and snatch-grip high pulls.Power clean and press is also an awesome movement.
 
Yup, but then I started out as an OL'er. I do not do any specific shoulder work, but rather work my shoulders through power snatches, snatch grip press behind the neck, hang cleans, etc. If I am going to do a pressing exercise, I always clean and press.
 
I don't do enough "quick" lifts however I firmly believe that they are excellent for creating intramuscular coordination throughout the body and strength. I also believe that any movement where the weight is held at shoulder heighth or higher (locked out above the head) helps build stabilizer muscles throughout the body and more specifcally core strength. I plan on incorporating more of these movements (i.e. cleans, hang cleans, push presses, overhead squats, high pulls, etc...).
