OK, here's the deal, i'm really pushing it to lose my last 20lbs or so. I'm on a low carb diet, cutting, and quite frankly lifting doesn't seem to do anything for me. Call it too high of a BF% or bad genetics, whatever you want, the point is that i feel better after a 10 minute run than a 40 minute weight lifting session.
Here's my thing, i want to build stamina. I'm graduating school soon and going to Police Academy and at this point, those 3 mile runs on the street are going to tear me up. Right now its all i can do to get my mile in (7:20 is my average) and i almost want to rip my legs off because they're so fatigued

Whtas the best method for building stamina and losing weight? I slacked last week, but other than that i've run my mile almost every day for the past few weeks. It makes me feel great, i just want to be able to punch out 3 miles like its nothing.
