Question for everyone who's used 1-AD..

How many milligrams were you using and how long have you been training and what were your results? I'm interested in trying 1-AD but due to the cost of taking 900mg a day which was the dosage amount in Ergopharm's studies, I'd rather not spend that kind of money(taking 9 capsules daily) unless some major results occur!! For this kind of dosage, one bottle wouldn't even last 7 days!! I'd just assume purchase steroids for less money and actually get some results as opposed to wasting money for a placebo effect!
 
I cap 3 times a day. I am a hardgainer, just started to work out again after about a 10 year break. Was adding maybe a pound or so every week before (at best). With 1-AD added about 8 during first two weeks, mostly all during the second. Much harder also. As with many PH age can make a diff, I am over 30.

Still in 6 week cycle, final results later
 
Thanks for your reply!! That's one strike for 1-AD! I'm guessing your gains were from simply re-starting your workouts. I'm looking or an experienced trainer such as myself. I'm 27 years old and have been working out for ten years! Other than a multi-vitamin, protein powder and either MRP's or meal replacement bars, I don't think any supplement has any benefit!
 
Sorry Rod, by the adding a pound or so a week I was talking about after I had started back for a couple of months. I think going from 1+ to 4+ pound a week gain is great. I am also larger then I ever was when I was 20ish so I don't think the gain is from muscle memory. I think if I get my diet in better order (I as doing .8 grams per pound at best) I could have had better gains like SilverSurfer who did about 20+lbs in a 5 week time frame.
 
Well you were talking about a 10 year break! The results you get in your first year back will be from your training and not any supplement! You should grow like crazy! In the neighboorhood of say 30-35 lbs of muscle in the year alone! I wouldn't even waste my money on supplements if I were you other than protein or MRP's! Just my 2 cents....
 
1-AD pretty good. But very expensive, I gained like 10lbs of a 5 week cycle, but becuase I ate everything I could some of that wieght was fat. But my strength went through the roof.

I started taking 2 pills 3 times a day, and went to 3 pills 3 times a day. next time I'll do 4 pills 3 times a day, only when the price goes down.
 
Rod, Well I bought the 1-AD to check on some of the great results people were posting. I really just wanted to know if it would work. I also agree the price is high - even more the AS, but I am no doctor and would never consider gear without one (even if it was allowed in the US).

If money is not a big problem, buy one bottle and do the 3 caps a day for about 3 weeks. If it doesn't work well for you then you wasted some money, but we all have done that :(

I think all of the comments (mine included) are nice, but all PH are very dependant on the person unlike gear.
 
You asked so i am going to tell you,1-AD works i gained 20 lbs in 8- weeks(a little over 2 lbs a week) and i only went from 12% to 13% bodyfat.
i stopped all my supps and just used 1-AD to see if it was the real deal, and it is.
 
1-AD

I used 1-AD and started with 1 cap 3x a day for the 1st week. After that I did 2 caps 3x a day. Next time a cycle it, I'm gonna go with 3 caps 3x a day and see how things go. Even at 2 caps 3x a day I gained 15 to 20 lbs on all my lifts.
 
i went ahead and bought a bottle of 1-AD. from everyones responses they seemed happy with the product. There's no way right now that I'm gonna spend a $100 on a bottle of Mag10, so spending 40$ on a bottle of 1-Ad doesn't feel that bad.
 
i think i'm very very skeptical when people say to me, "i went up 10-15 pounds my exercises" i want to know what happened to your body composition. How much fat gained or muscle gained. Going up 10 pounds in bench press isn't shit, but going up 10 pounds in body weight is. For $80 or more, they can keep their extra 15 pounds in exercise weights.
 
I'm not going to say that 1-AD was responsible for the gains, because honestly I don't know. It's not like I had the same diet prior to taking 1-AD. I ate my ass off while on it because I wanted to get the "full effect". Unfortunately eating my ass off meant that some of the foods I ate weren't the best foods (Arbys Big Montana with fries and a diet coke for example) so I did gain some fat. But in my mind I was ready to go go for higher reps or higher weights for every for every workout. Take it for what it's worth.

I'd say I got better results from taking a total of 9 per day so that's why I'd like to bump it to 12, BUT DAMN THAT'S EXPENSIVE.

Regarding stomache pains, I noticed that for like 2 days, then poof! gone.

Yea me too stomach ache for the first day and then no more.
i started with bench 180 3 X 10
ended 230 3 x 10 after 8 weeks
maybe the stuff doesn't work but it sure is nice lifting more weight!!
 
Strength is great but it doesn't always equate with muscle growth. Did you guys gain any size? And did you retain much strength or size when you finished your cycle? Thanks.

Hmmmmm..I think I might have to disagree with you statement....I think what you are saying is a physiological impossibility....granted, you might not go from looking like what you look like to looking like Flex Wheeler as you are gaining strength, but I'm pretty darn sure, you are gaining muscle size at the same time you are gaining strength. You may not see the gain in size because it's not like you swell up over night, or maybe you put on some fat or retain water so you don't necessarily notice it, but I'm pretty sure your muscles are getting bigger...

Anyone else that knows a bit more about muscle physiology have a take on this?
 
I am bigger and stronger from taking the stuff,it's the strength that i have now that blows my mind, cuz i hear so many people say that this stuff doesn't work
 
I think most people who use 4-AD and 1-AD that don't get results aren't training, eating, or resting properly ( assuming they're using a high enough dose). You can take 500mg of test per week and if you train like crap and eat like crap you're not gonna see the gains.
 
I gained 15 lbs on my first 5 week cycle of 1-AD (165 to 180) without gaining fat (measured with caliper at several sites).

I did 1 capsule 3x per day. Only other supp during the period was ZMA right before bed.

I'm in week 4 of a 6 week second cycle. Up 10 lbs. This time I'm doing 2 caps 3x per day. Again, ZMA is only other supp taken.

Strength increases in all lifts have been significant in both first and second cycles.

Diet has not been a focus. 2800 calories per day with perhaps 100g of protein.
 
I'm in my third week at 3-5 a day depending on how much I eat and my lifts are all coming up nicely and my arms and other stuff are getting real hard looking. Thats not the only hard thing, I have wood every morning (not bad, I turn 42 in 3 weeks).
