Question - do you see a doctor while on cycle?

Question - to the ladies out there. when you're on a cycle do you make sure you tell your doctor about it so she can keep an extra eye on liver values, bp, etc.,? i don't suppose doctor's have some kind of responsibility to report illegal steroid use to authorities, do they? sorry if this is a stupid question...

correction

meant to say keep track of more than liver values, like telling your gynecologist what you're on - do you do this?

I've heard it gone both ways...some docs that find out may not be willing to help you or will document it in your records so that when something does go wrong the insurance will not cover it(link problem and blame steroids) . I also knew a guy where the doc he had did whatever she could to help him out. Maybe find another reason to get test results done that show the info you need.

thanks..

thanks. i don't really know what tests i should look at, but if i went on another cycle and didn't feel good i'd certainly head to the doctor. i also wouldn't want to screw up my hormones too much, but seems like small cycles are ok from what i've read. anyway, thanks 4 the response...

If you know of a dr..that will not flip out because you are "on" and they are willing to give you guidance and monitor you it would be your best option to see a dr. while on a cycle...the safest thing to do:)

sorry, missed this post and didn't respond for a while.

i registered back in june, 2001, but i don't post very much. i've done one cycle of anavar back then and i'd like to do more, i liked the results i got with the first one, but i'm still learning.

I went to my doc and told him i was "ON" and he blamed everything on the fact that i was on steroids and wouldnt treat me for anything til i was "OFF"......so imo for that particular doc, i sholdnt have said anything....

However, i do know a chick who has a helpful doc, however, he was not taking any new clients when i called to make an appt....guess the best thing to do is talk to people and try to find a doc who is ok with knowing this...

Exactly V, I went to my doc and she insisted on knowing why I wanted blood work done. I quote, "I don't give blood work out of patient's curiousity." So I said, ok if you don't want to make like 700 in 2 minutes fine by me, I'll go somewhere else.

No offense to any women, but she was a complete fucking bitch
