Most are just sugar laden crap. You'd be better off drinking milkshakes. Seriously, check out BIG BLAST. The stuff is in another league.

You have to get the cals in no matter what.
I'm consuming 4100cals/day right now and it is almost all whole food and completely clean.
Injectable b12 is definetely an option, I used it and it seemed to work decently.
Try to eat foods that pack some cals but aren't all that filling.
Check out the cottage cheese thread for starters.

TITCR.

No one said being big is easy.

If you want to look like a 250lb BBer, you have to eat like a 250lb BBer, EOS.

People that have big appetites don't understand how easy they have it.
Trying to get those meals down day after day is not easy but it's the only way to make progress.
It does get easier w/ time but not easy.

Thank god for Weight Gainers.... I don't use a 'boxed product' but make my own:

3 scoops ON Whey - vanilla
3 tbsp ANBP
1 banana
3 cups milk
2 cups Oats

Eat 2 of these a day, and if you need to use whole milk or even throw in a scoop of ice cream do it. Gaining weight is as simple as being in a caloric surplus, and while eating can be the hardest thing to do in the equation (the food is the hardest part, cutting or properly bulking, as it takes the most time) it has to be done.

At least you know what you have to do - it's no mystery.

Here's another meal that I've started eating 2x/day.
It is easy to prepare and easy to get down.

1.5 cups cottage cheese
1 oz nuts

oats shake (16oz water 2 packs splenda and 1 cup oats)

This yeilds:

700 cals
50g protein
60g carbs

You can also substitute water for milk or add some ANPB to it for extra cals if needed.

haha. agreed.

1 cup oats
1 bannana
1 tbl spoon ANPB
1-2 scoops choc protien powder
2 cups skim milk

quick n easy n doesnt feel like cement! lol

You have to make yourself eat every 2-3 hours. The bigger you get the more cals you need to consume also to grow. Good news is it gets easier as your body gets use to it and you will start getting hungry if you miss a meal.

It'll come with time if you train hard and force yourself as much as possible. I used to think I would never be a bodybuilder when I started because I found it so hard to get down even 3500 cals! A couple years later, my appetite just kinda kicked in and it's been easier ever since.

There was a guy a few years ago gained 91 bounds in 20 weeks. He ate two ben and jerry's a day which is 2400 calories right there, along with alot of other food.176 to 267 and than got ripped up at 234 I think. Can you imagine people that hadn't seen you for the 20 weeks?

Try using Cyproheptadine (antihistamine) it is used to stimulate appetites in patients. Along with the other uses as a antihistamine. you can only get it from your doctor.

are u a lean 215?? if your a guy thats always ripped and has a hard time adding weight just eat everything.....pizza, mcdonalds....u shouldnt have a hard time eating that stuff....just make sure to do a lil cardio to keep the hard in shape.....if u see urself starting to get fat lay off the junk food

Have you tried EQ yet? If not make that a part of your next cycle with B12. Try something like:

wk.1-5 30-50mg of D-bol
wk.1-20 750mg of Test E
wk.1-18 600mg of EQ
AI throughout
Then PCT

Do what everyone else has said about eating. If you're the type of person that wants to stay lean, you will have a harder time putting on the weight. If you don't mind a little spare tire then go for it, then cut up.

That's over 4lbs/day.
That can't be true and if it is I'd like to see his stretch marks.

Believe it or not eating will start to stimulate your appetite. You just have to eat even if you not hungry like every 2-3 hrs and sometimes you may throw it back up cause it happens. I have found that after awhile of doing this your body will get use to it and you will start getting hungry if you miss one of those mieals or late eating it. Then when you get ready to cut back on the cals you cut the cals not the number of meals.

I fell ya',I am 6'4" and started my last (first)cycle at 220lbs,ended up 231 lbs after 10 weeks(test s 500mg/ew),though alot leaner,I ate a solid 4100 clean cals 6 days a week when on,I had whole diet mapped out so I was sure.Gotta go for 4500 cals on next one,if not more...

Olives and nuts are pretty easy to eat and they're the most calorie dense foods on the planet.

Vit B12 stimulates appitite.

The bottom line is calories, but there are other things that help to increase weight -- creatine, IGF-1, insulin uptake. Get it all in this:http://proteinfactory.com/shop/product.php?productid=145&cat=0&page=1#tabs

Read the reviews. It's the only product with a 100% approval rating.

if it wasn't $15 per pound i'd buy it.

Yea for sure after i've been eating like a horse for a while, I get bad hunger pains if I miss a meal.

Oh yeah. If it wasn't for almonds and walnuts I don't think I could make it. I usually eat at least 2 cups of walnuts per day, which have about 1600 cals in them. Easy and good calories right there.

My personal favorite weight gainer concoction. Absolutely guaranteed to put weight on and taste pretty good.

2 cups skim milk
2 scoops chocolate ON whey
2 heaping tablespoons lowfat plain yogurt
1/4 cup egg beaters
2 heaping ice cream scoops lowfat Dreyer's slow churned chocolate
1/2 banana
1 heaping tablespoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon ground flax meal
liberal use of herschey's syrup
1 scoop creatine
1 scoop l-glutamine

It works. :chomp:

30 grams for serving is nothing

Most weight gainer shakes have alot of sugar in them, so I usually make my own. I used whey protein, milk, peanut butter, oats, nuts, and sometimes a scoop of complex carbs here and there.

My dad is 165lbs and my mom is literally about 100-110lbs, so me being 240lbs is a little unnatural for me. I eat 8-9 times a day, drink a gallon of water, run 1-2 cycles per year, lift 4 times a week, run 3 times a week, roll on the mats 4 times a week, and work outside doing manual labor.

It's a rough one for me, but I like being big.......looking forward to being 255lbs soon.
