protein factory nutritional info doesn't add up?

It must be 1.6g instead of 6g

1.6g * 9 = around 15 cal

its 10 percent flax powder that would be more then 1.6g of fat..... and 87g *4.5 = 391 which is more then 370 total cals....

that's f'ed up...email them or call them

4.5 cals per gram of protein? It's 4 cals/g for protein and carbs...

87 * 4 = 348 cals

either way with the fat added into that it's over 400 which doesn't add up right

bump becuz if u buy this and use the wrong info bad things can happen

like what?

i buy from them but i get my own custom made formula, its basically all whey, so i know there s little fat, there website has a lot of errors, its most likely an error. i just went into their protein lab and made a custom formula, it added up right, must be a typo

What about the rumor that PF doesn't meat their label claims ?

i emailed them and this should help straighten it out. btw a 50 cal difference twice a day is 100 cals which is a 700 cal difference per week. which is significant

I have heard that for years. That's why I use true protein. Good shit and NEVER heard a bad word about them. Owners are members of another board I frequent. They smoke PF's ass on everything. Quality, shipping, price, etc.

Strange. But I know you will hear from them. They always return emails and customer questions.

When you do hear about it, please post up the explanation here on the board for the rest of us.

The problem with meeting label claims from PF was on their blends. One reason I never order blends is you're creating more processing steps for errors to occur. You could have a mix up on proteins to blend, percentages, mismeasures and the employee not blending the mixture thoroughly enough for even distribution. I've used their straight powder since they started and have no compalints. I highly recommend their milk isolate and isochill whey.

rumors usually mean .... its not true. whered you hear that? any sites on the web?

Actually it's more than a rumor

A guy posted an independant lab study stating that they didn't meet their label claims
He was sued by proteinfactory but eventually went to an agreement w/ PF....

Technically it is 4.3 - but gets rounded down
