The whole rage against the machine self titled album, vulgar display of power and far beyond driven are nuts also!

I don't like listening to music when doing weights too often simply because music is my greatest love, particularly when squatting or something more intensive, but if I'm not feeling it, I like to stress myself out with something chaotic, Meshuggah's Bleed being a great example that's disorientating (polyrythmic drumming) but also pumps you up.

For a pump up song less disorientating, e.g., Opeth's "Masters Apprentices" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmxNl6oYmn0, or "Ghost of Perdition" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBWLMwU6ZQ4, and when I was interested in poppier metal, things like Metallica's "masters of puppets" would do.

But sometimes classical (Tchaikovsky, Bruch, Rach) works for me too.

Same here. No music when lifting because it actually distracts me. When I'm doing cardio, though, I need motivation.

I must admit that I didn't click every link but I'm pretty sure that Static-X wasn't mentioned here. Definitely helps me get through my cardio sessions...
