A fashion mistake like an awful brides maid or prom dresss you wore. Most clothes from the 80's woud be counted as a fasion faux pa.

I was in high school during the 80's (Madonna's rubber bangle phase) and all I can say is there were a lot tapered jeans, rubber jewelry, big (BIG) hair, keds (oh the horror), shoulder pads (I had all types and sizes), braces/suspenders (collected them), stirrup pants, leggings, men's ties (going to a club I'd wear a man like suit, a neck tie and just a bra - LOL in the early 90's I lost the tie), tight white shirts w/blue or black jeans and cowboy boots (that look keep going through the 90's too).

My prom dress (still don't know why I went) was pink and friggin lacey. I haven't worn lace or pink since.


Did I forget to mention the Duran Duran hair?

@ Velvett's post.. I'm guilty of a number of those.. however all pictorial evidence has since been burned.

The shoulder pads.. God, what was I thinking?!! And the huge pouffy bangs. HOT.
