male arctic seals during mating season will arrive on the beach where females are waiting.
the males will do NOTHING EXCEPT fight each other and bang the females for 2-3 weeks straight non stop. they don't eat anything during this time as they are too busy. after the mating season is over the females leave the beach and the male seals stick around.
guess what the male seals do then? the answer 99% of people will say is they eat.. but this is not true.. they don't fight again either. they actually REST/SLEEP. it is amazing how much we can learn from nature
the point of this story is after a workout you must rest/repair to grow muscle. you can't just keep pounding more and no food is not going to grow your muscle.. don't confuse water retention from carbs with muscle growing, not the same thing.. these assclowns on social media who claim they workout 3 hours a day are just that.. assclowns. and those that think they have to run and grab a 'shake' are also assclowns. filling your muscles up with glucose from dex and HFCS is not growing them, that is just fluff and slop.
the true way to grow muscle after a workout is to get in a damn good NAP and rest. my best gains of my life came when i woke up early in the morning, went and worked out and then came home and took a 2 hour nap before work. i grew like a fucking weed.
