Do you asspirate for glute injections. (Couldn't help using the pun) Yes or No.
Again this is only for glutes. I don't personally as I think it's not necessary. Maybe I should? Worst case, what could happen?

Pinning glutes works well for me. I aspirate everytime and it's been pretty uneventful until my last pinning of my last 15 week cycle.

When I inject, it's as smooth as a knife through butter. This last time, I felt an unusual pressure but not pain as the needle broke the skin. I pull back on the plunger expecting to see the few bubbles that appear when aspirating. Instead, blood had entered the syringe. I felt no pain, but realized I hit a vein. Needless to say, I cut that cycle short by one dose. I should've replaced the needle with a new one, but didn't have enough knowledge of pinning a gear/blood cocktail. After all it was my own blood.

If I hadn't aspirated, I may have pinned my gear directly into my vein! I still haven't researched all the info on that topic but I'm glad I'm here to share.

i voted no ,i used to everytime ,have nt in a long time ,but i know konw i should and would advise anyone to aspirated.

:(Dam shibs chill a little bro. This isnt you so go sleep it off and come back the real you dude.:)

I dont do gluts. Every time that I try it feels like I pull something big in my back, getting twisted around. But whenever I pin I aspirate. I think I forgot only once so far.

Glutes is actually the only time you need to aspirate when injecting. Anywhere else is not needed. I know this because Im majoring for my medical doctorate.

Bloody Hell, mate!
This is like a motor vehicle safety specialist telling us to wear a seat belt only when driving on certain roads.

Is it just me? I've heard of people hitting veins in several places. Even though it may be unlikely.

I say, better safe than sorry or worse. Use a mirror if you can't see your ass. :)

I do, as a matter of good practice, no matter where, and even on sub Q... And just for everyone's info: I DID hit a deep vein once in the glute, so it IS possible!

what happens if you do not aspirate and you inject into a vein/blood vessel?

i've never aspirated :/

In theory you are forcing a drug designed for intramuscular administration directly into your bloodstream. This can be very dangerous.

There is no good reason not to aspirate; it is quick, painless, and has no downside.

This, plus also if you use a tiny air bubble at the end of the syringe to push the last drop of Gear out, that bubble could cause heart/lung/brain injury if it gets into the blood stream, I've read. I don't remember the exact details, but just the idea of causing any kind of preventable heart/lung/brain damage, is stupid to me.

Whenever an injection happens, aspirating is the proper procedure. Why someone would skip pulling back, when it only takes a second is beyond me.

I inject directly into veins on purpose ;)

Haha, but seriously I have just never aspirated once over the years - the only thing I have stopped doing or modified is stopped injecting into my traps. That was quite a weird sensation. Tren Cough hits IMMEDIATELY when you get it into the blood stream, however nothing has ever caused any detrimental effects.

dude i went through a spiderweb vein in my thigh before. went right through it so there was no blood when i aspirated, but when i pulled out the needle the blood shot out like a fountain lmao

I guess I did inject in a vein before then also, I started coughing after a Sust 250 injetion one day. Lasted about 2 minutes, I felt the same though. Guess that cough is the signal you got some in the bloodstream.

I was injecting sustanon 250 and vent threw vein and when i pulled the pin out i started coughing. I was sick for one day and got really high fever, that is just respond from the body if it comes something in the bloodstream.

Oh yes sir, it's classic... did you seek out the nearest fan and get brought to your knees in a heat flash and try to suck air feeling like you had asthma for a few minutes? Nothing like it :)

I always make my own vials, so I know it's all real, sterile, and dosed according to the cycle.

My experience was the coughing as if I sucked in chemical fumes and hot flash. I actually felt panicked but it was over within 2 minutes.
I have felt much worse before from other things. A Niacin Flush enhanced by eating Dave's insanity Hot sauce on my meal minutes before was much longer and much more intense whole body experience.

Yes, i always aspirate! Don't want to waste juice or take any chances of medical complications.........but i will say you will notice some pain if you do hit a nerve......after a while its second nature....

Rather safe than sorry, they say. I have gone through veins with blood pushing some of my gear out when I retract the pin, which pisses me off, because where I pinned 500mg Cyp, e.g, I have now lost at least 150mg. I have never drawn blood when aspirating. I have hit nerves in the glutes with quite a fair few compounds and also in the shoulder, mainly with hcg. Hitting a nerve is a whole other type of painfull experience.

I haven't read the whole thread as I no longer pin glutes. For what it's worth, I recently read a medical abstract on injections/aspirating and it said the same thing as the quote above. Your best chance of hitting a major vein is on a glute injection. Anywhere else isn't necessary. Of course, that abstract didn't cover bi/tri/pec/trap/calf shots.

I have never aspirated ever. If my gf is helping me pin I will tell her to aspirate but I've never done it myself

Sent from my GT-N7100 using EliteFitness

I don't aspirate at all and rotate between quads, glutes and delts. Nurses don't, so I don't really see the need.
