Here's something I can contribute to this argument. I'm in TX and the construction industry (which I'm apart of) is considered "booming" and only in comparison to the majority of this nations construction industry. They have been stressing the "buy American" act of here really hard! In theory it sounds great, much needed to help our economy right? But there's a catch as always!! When congress put this together there's a clause that not too many people are aware of, the products don't have to be 100% American. They can be imported goods but assembled by americans and meet the criteria! So a great example of this is; take the average door hinge on a school for instance, they are all fabricated in china and or Korea but shipped here in boxes and once the laborer assembles these hinges to install on the doors then that technically qualifies as but American?? Wtf? How does that benefit us in any way? Nothing's changed about it just put a "theoretical" label on it and done...

Tell me that your federal taxes havent gone DOWN under the current Potus. Take a look at who has proposed more tax cuts for the bottom 90% of Americans and who has proposed tax cuts for the top 10%.

1) Reached across the isle to work in the spirit of compromise and cooperation with obtuse, non-cooperative Republicans.
2) Cared too deeply about the American people instead of targeting those awful, mean-spirited republicans hard enough.
3) Cared too deeply about Mother Earth instead of focusing on eradicating the toxic role of Christianity on America.

1) I'm the ultimate pragmatist. I'm really only interested in solutions that work.
2) My pragmatism led me to a fiscally and politcal conservative view. But not a socially conservative view -- screw those guys. I'd vote for gay green peace anti-nuclear heroine addict SEICU progressive activist to run the show if I thought it would actually work.
