poison ivy

damn, i've always been really allergic to poison ivy but this is the first time i've ever had it all over my hands -- it's between my fingers, on my palms, everywhere . It doesn't itch too bad yet but it feels weird as hell and i definitely won't be doin any lifting for a few days.

anybody got a good remedy? i've got like a pint of calamine on them right now, it's flakin off all over my keyboard

uh go to the doctor and get a cortizone shot that will clear it right up. ot get some prednisone which will take about 2 days.

Actually, I've just used calamine so far and it's gone down considerably since yesterday. I'll remember about the cortizone shot tho, thanks, I usually screw up with poison ivy about once a year

i do the same thing too, i actually just go t alittle patch on my arm. Ive been good about it ho, no itching, wash it frequently and i have prescription cortizone cream i put on it 2-3 times a day.

I can attest to the bleach method but I did it different than that page says to. I always poke a hole in all the blisters with a needle and the rubbed straight bleach, no water or epsom salt, on the affected area. It was usually gone in 2-3 days.
