Yes it does but those other professions don't make the people dispise themselves either. I'm not saying that this is true for all strippers/prostitutes I'm just saying it happens. It's a bad situation.

They do it because they are hot sexually and have not found a rich husband and they do not want to work at a piece of shit job.

I no problem with prostituion at all - in fact, I think it should be legalized.

That said, I know I wouldnt enjoy sex with a girl who was only there because I was paying her to be. No matter how good an actress she was, I'd still be thinking "she's not into me, she's only here to earn a buck". People cheat like crazy nowadays. I've known people who have cheated on thier partner with 10+ people. The probability of STD's is likely higher when in a relationship then when going with a hooker.

I've never been with a hooker and never will. I like the challenge of getting and bedding a woman. When sex becomes a business transaction it's pretty pathetic, but I do agree that it's probably a whole lot less of a headache. We're all a bunch of damn hypocrites lol.

i disagree with the dehumanisation aspect, though. i think that prostitution is a very human act...its been happening since forever. i think that many people see it as such because it is demeaning in some peoples eyes, against some of the preconceptions they have had instilled since birth by 'polite' society.

in a world that has seen humans keep other humans as slaves for centuries, how can you say that mere prostitution is dehumanising?

anyway i have never been with a pro. not to love myself, but i dont need to. getting a girl isnt a huge drama, and the kind of girl i like - ie sweet and girlish - isnt going to be readily found in the phonebook, imo. (prostitution is legal where i live)

I have been so jaded by the dating system that I have considered moving to Costa Rica or Brazil where it is exceptable to pay the 40 dollars for a hot chick to have sex with you.

Instead I resorted to mainly having one night stands. (I was always honest and never lied to a girl to have sex)

As a youngster, girls would flirt and hint about sex. So, I would do the traditional date thing. Only, to feel like I am being manipulated. Then, I learned most girls already kind of had BF and were trying me out or just to have bragging rights that they had a date to their friends. So, I quit dating

Then as a man in my 30's who has a good career, house, etc. I have had 2 gf that really didn't love me but loved the idea of marrying a guy like me for security. They both used sex, threats, and just telling me I was a loser for not wanting to commit and take care of them. These 2 girls cost me more then the guy who paid the hookers 100k.
My friends that are married talk all the time about the things they do for sex. Examples, plant flowers, goto the craft store, buy jewlery. They would do these things for there wives, but thee wives use sex to get what they want. I don't want to live my life this way. I do business with a guy who was married under 10 yrs w/no kids. He is a smart business man and has made alot of money. He said he broke it down after giving his wife the last of her money from the divorce. He figured that he gave her $16,500 for every time they had sex. (this was during the marraige. Of course, before they got married they had sex all the time.lol)

I pretty much just try to break it down when ever a girl shows interest in me. (Example I posted a few months ago that offended a few ladies here)

I go out and meet a girl. She asks the same questions all girls ask. "Why aren't you or have ever been married?" & "Why don't you have a GF" My answer as always "Bc I don't like using the bartar system for sex" (Most girls take off here.) I ask her why is she flirting w/me and using slightly sexual inuendo's. She says she is attracted to me, so I ask if she wants to goto my place. (I was staying in a condo next door) She does and we have wild sex 2 times that night. In the morning we are getting along and laying in bed talking. She hints about having sex again several times. by saying "I want to have sex again, but I'm so tired" ( She say this several times. I always reply yes, I know what you mean. (waiting for her to make the move) Finally she starts giving me oral and says "Well I guess I decided" So, I go to the bathroom and get a condom. (and get my self pysched up by doing the normal boxing in the mirror while humming The Rocky theme song) Anyway, I get back in the room and she is getting dressed. I say "Wow, is this a joke? Where are the hidden cameras?" She laughs and says she has to get going and we can "finish this someother time" I say "what do you mean.?' She says you can take me out? I jokingly say " I told you I don't use the bartar system for sex" She laughs again and says I will be very happy after our next date. So, I say " How about if I just give you the $85 now?" Well she stopped laughing and started calling me names. I told her I might have taken her out sometime if she wanted to hang out. But, not as a result of her doing the take away with the sex.

I should go for hookers. I wind up actually paying more in dates just to get laid once (or none at all). Apparently that women's liberation movement thing doesn't apply when going out on dates. Now that i got short hair, it's even _more_ expected that i should be rich and have to pay. Fuck that.

If it was legal you make them take test (particularly HIV test), you would have a better control of diseases.

When it's illegal, think about it, chicks would get banged a thousand times a year are bound to get AIDS and spread it. By legalizing it, controlling, TAXING it, you actually clean up society.

The problem would be proliferation of it.

Europe is smarter in alot of respects.

Marriages may even last longer because a man would not have to leave his fat wife for a younger girl, but just go to the red light district and get his rocks off. Then maybe the wife, IF she wants sex, would tighten up her body so he would WANT to bang her.

From a man's perspective (the customer) it is not demeaning else he would not pay for it.
